Because you're being rather foolish. Zangoose vs Serviper is the superior pokemon rival team because it is canon that they are rivals. Blastoise and Charizard are only "rivals" because two other people choose it to be. That's like me saying Wario's rival is Yoshi because I go after Wario all the time when I'm Yoshi in Mario Party games. Pokemon Trainer Red vs Pokemon Trainer Blue is the superior rival team because that's in canon. Chariazard vs Blastoise is not.
