It's a pretty neat show. It's sort of a spinoff of Bones but kind of not a spinoff. It's another show about a "Sherlock Holmes" type character that observes his environment and makes connections nobody else seems to see. It's a nice lighthearted show with clever writing. Also the reason the main character is so clever is because he has brain damage.
It does get neat crossovers. It's not really a spin off of Bones but it is set in the same universe, so you get crossovers. Sweets was in an episode and last nights episode had Hodgins. It was pretty interesting seeing Hodgin's paranoid alien theories clash with Walter's paranoid anything theories.

The batman villians all seem to be one big joke that batman refuses to laugh at - SantaRPG
The only thing I've seen of it was when I was walking past a TV and one guy asked "What did he really see up there?" Another guy responded "I told him sunspots as a warning. What he saw... was sunspots. Consider yourselves warned."
That seemed kinda interesting, but I didn't stick around to watch.

Like other shows like House, the Mentalist, Lie to Me etc, it really doesn't come down to the situations they get in, but mostly just how interesting the main character is to watch, and see how they come to their conclusions. I think Walter is a pretty fresh take on the archetype.
I hope it doesn't get cancelled :(
