The curtains from Seer: Descend represent the acts and sub-acts. So when the amount of green ones that it had run out is when Act 6 will probably be done. I forget how much there were though..

Homestuck will be 7 Acts. Act 5 (obviously) divided into 2, and Act 6 divided into 6.

Act 7 supposedly will just be a single flash epilogue or something but as said we all know Hussie.

It's not your fault the flash animations usually aren't consistent with time. Took me a while into [S] Make Her Pay to realize that it was stuff happening in both the present and the past.

For this particular one it seems as if it's stuff taking place right now (so to speak) with Caliborn and stuff that's gonna happen later on to our group. At least that's how I saw it.

Nope, GHB killed Dualscar, and later Mindfang was killed by Summoner who presumably was later killed by GHB. GHB and obviously the Condesce were I believe the only two ancestors who are either alive or ambiguously alive.
