Hey Ermine, I actually voted for Murkrow this time and look what happened. :P

Fun Fact: Tropius aka Bropius follows the trend set by Krokorok, Dewott, Mewtwo, Articuno, and Mew in that order and becomes the sixth (as far as I know) to place 1st on its premier Top Ten debut.

I don't really think this top ten is terrible. I like everything in it (Shuckle and Electrode far less than the others but whatevs)

It could have been better but Arcanine vs. Dewott happened like exactly 7 matches before the top ten and it was on me so of course I picked my #1 over my #2 knowing full-well Kazbar disliked Arcanine, but I thought... "WHAT ARE THE ODDS?" To answer that question, the odds are forever not in my favor and Murkrow was chosen over Arcanine by none other than Kazzy (<333). So yeah, I basically killed my two faves unintentionally.

Still though this didn't turn out as horrid as the last time I ran a gauntlet with Kazbar and Kirby.

A lot of this had to do because the usual suspects all got drawn against each other in the last matches before getting to the top 10, letting these guys take the spotlight for a change. Also a couple of nice DREAM RUNS and yeah, this awesomeness happens.
Shame about Dunsparce though, almost got in, but faced Tropius just before the top 10.

Yeah... I'm with XIII on this one. There might be two on that entire list I'd even put in my top half. For me, this could easily be the worst list yet. With the way these have been going I'm not sure if it'd be a good idea for me to do another one.

Ordinarily when doing a point system of placing I would make 1st place worth more points (e.g. 1st = 12 pts, 2nd place = 9 pts, 3rd = 8 pts, etc.) but the random nature of the gauntlet made me just do straight 10 pts for 1st, 9 pts for 2nd, etc.

Great list. Not quite as great as The Best List Ever™ ) but definitely the second-best I've participated in.


1. Snorlax - Awesome. Top 50, minimum, probably top 30. 9/10
2. Krookodile - Top 10. Amazing. 10/10
3. Scyther - Top 50. 8.8/10
4. Milotic - Not a huge fan, but it's pretty nice. 7.5/10
5. Chandelure - Definitely the biggest snub so far, glad it finally got a run. 9.2/10
6. Excadrill - Again, this is one of the best ever Pokemon. On the Snorlax tier certainly. 9/10
7. Torterra - Honestly I think this is the worst DPP starter, but I still like it. 7/10
8. Swampert - One of my favourite starter evos. 8/10
9. Gengar - Classic excellence. 9/10
10. Cubone - A nice choice to round things off. 8/10

Honestly, there's a few of my top 20/30 here and it is supplemented by top 100/150 Pokemon. I don't have a bad word to say about any of the ones here. It runs the other list very, very close, but that list literally had 5 of my top 10 (Zam, Theman, Zard, Chomp, Krook - and possibly Blastoise as well) in it.

That's why it's the best ever

A list with Zard AND Theman would be enough, but when you supplement it with stuff like Garchomp, Krook, Blastoise, Kyogre (the best legendary - it's up there at least. I like Zapdos, Mewtwo, Arceus and Darkrai about as much), and Zam...Stunfisk is a hilarious novelty pick to lighten it up (since it is a list of badass beasts, it needs something smaller to balance it). Volcarona is cool, top 100 minimum, and I love how goofy Bastiodon is - though it's probably only top 200.

So yeah Stunfisk and Bastiodon are worse than any Pokemon on the list we just did, but the overall quality of The Best List Ever™ does the trick.
