Apparently they prefer to move to Kansas because of the low cost of living, but they're adding all this other stuff the wouldn't even matter without Kansas being cheap.

Oh, so that's what the "K" in your user-name stands for. Yep Lokarin posted... Isn't Kansas, like, dirt? There are some nice cities. I just don't see any strong appeal other than lower prices. Maybe if you're buying a home for a family then maybe one of the pricier cities would be fine, but the cheaper ones are lacking in some important areas imo. --- Mains: Xiaoyu/Zafina (Tekken)-Dhalsim (SF)-Jax (MK) Luong/Yamazaki/Joe (KoF) ... Also
"Kansas highly considered by millennials"... to be what? The statement is grammatically ambiguous. I think they MEANT to say "Kansas considered highly by millennials", but that's not entirely correct either. "Kansas regarded highly by millennials" might be what they were going for. --- "Salt cures Everything!" My YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/Nirakolov/videos ... Copied to Clipboard!

I lived in Kansas for the first 22 years of my life.
Yes, most of it is hundreds of miles of flat plains. There's not a lot to see. But the cost of living is indeed quite cheap. I lived in a suburb of Kansas City, so it was obviously civilized and developed, as opposed to like, 100 person towns out in the middle of nowhere. But even as the downtown area is concerned, it's very reasonable. I can understand why millennials are attracted. But our governor is a joke. He hates education and medicaid. Of course, since millennials don't want/can't afford kids, education isn't exactly top of the list, so millennial teachers would not want to come to Kansas. As for medicaid - well, again, millennials, so that isn't a factor. BUT, Brownback is theoretically being considered for a UN position, and thus would be leaving his position. So, yeah. There are plenty of reasons to move to Kansas, but it definitely depends on what part. I would move back to where I was (15 mins away from downtown) in a heartbeat, but I don't think I'd enjoy living in one of those 100 person towns. --- Not changing this sig until Pat Benatar is in Super Smash Bros.
