I didn't feel much while I was playing, but now I'm home and there is a sharp, shooting pain every time I stand up. It gets better as I walk around, but if I stop moving and get back up - it hurts again.

Is it better for me to put an ice pack on it, a heating pad or to just sleep on it? I have a skating competition tomorrow and being in pain won't help at all.

Please advise.

Just woke up. It's a sprain.

In hindsight, deciding not to ice it was a bad idea. I can barely walk. I'm still going to the competition to watch, but I can't compete for the money with a hurt leg.

Guess I'll stay in bed and fuck around on CE all day.
