You should should clear each dungeon in 2-3 trips, not including the final trip to fight the boss. SP management and item preparation is important. I was able to clear the 3rd dungeon in a single trip, it was tough though.

also lol at the complaints of the negotiation system. It is one of the best improvements for the series, It is so much better than 'shuffle time'. Especially considering temperament is shown and explained rather than being hidden like in SMT mainline, plus they only ask for items/money/HP/SP during hostage situations instead of every negotiation.

I almost bought this game because of the hype but I'm kinda glad I didn't. Might give it a shot when it's under $20 but I think the calendar mechanic is going to kill it for me. Not knocking the game, it seems like it would be really cool if I didn't have to plan a schedule. I can barely do that shit in real life lol.

I play games super slowly because I like to really take everything in. Hell, I'm playing Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and I'm 51 hours in just clearing HB.

not really a valid thing to say, they give you the idea that your schedule is free-er than it actually is and then only explain this once you reach there. there's no indication that you will have gotten screwed

it also took me 7 hours to get past the tutorial but I am a slowpoke, other than that I am enjoying the game and also didn't mind the tutorial. the calling card stuff is a pain though. you have to reach the treasure in a palace with at least 3-4 days to spare as you'll need to send the calling card one day so you can go into the dungeon the next

that literally made me almost quit. WHY do they let you fumble around in the dungeon if there is no chance of having enough time>??? So I have 2 days left when I found the first heart. So it takes a night sleep, another full day to send the card, then another day minimum to break his heart or whatever. They should maybe tutorial that little flaw.

yeah I think it was a misstep as people might have been used to the old games and wanted to do the dungeon in one day and saved it til the end. before the second dungeon morgana says something about securing the route 2 days prior to whatever deadline

The limited schedule is very generous to get every thing done unless you're aiming for a 100% completion. As I person who get anxious over timed mechanics like Dead Rising and Pikmin, Persona 5 doesn't bother me at all

while I love the series the schedule stresses me out as I'm used to getting all the content I possibly can in a game. I kind of am having a hard time with it, I want to play blind but I can't help myself as I would feel like I'm not getting the full experience

also idk if I'm gonna play through it again anytime soon

i recommend using a s-link guide, even if it's the 1st playthrough. There are way too many good bonuses to miss like a auto-regen SP accessory from the Death confident

it's pretty hard to not get to rank 5 with her, rank 7 for the discount(or 8 w/e) as well.

NG+ carries over your stats so you don't have to balance companions and getting what you need to unlock them.

But i fully understand anyone who doesn't want to commit 150-200 hours to a single game.

yeah, I have been using one so far lol. I was going for her regardless cause she's awesome but the bonuses are great from a lot of these... pretty stoked to see them all and see what they all offer as well
