I understand that the new HD version and Steam version are even more fucked up than the original. My brother was playing the HD version and he and I both found it to be impossible after hours of trying.

I just decided if I ever decide to play that fucking game again I would just use a trainer to complete it. I hate those dumbass side quests like that.

It maybe wouldn't be so bad if the birds and balloons had set patterns, but, no, they're random. And the balloons are ALWAYS in the path of the birds, so it's not worth going for the balloons, because you'll just get stunlocked for 30 seconds so you can't lower your score. WTF Square.

That one and the stupid chocobo race with the 5 chests were the hardest trophies for me to get.

I just did this about half an hour ago. It is the worst mini game in the game, but I found something that kind of worked. Got it after about 10 tries.

The birds are semi homing on your location. They also seem to spawn in waves of like 2-3. So what you want to do is wait for 'dead air' when no birds are around, and then get out of the path of the balloons. The birds will spawn after the dead air and will semi home in on you, and then you dodge out of them, and you dodge right into the balloons instead of going straight for them.

You have to get a feel for when the dead air with no birds happens and when the birds spawn in groups and if you can snag a balloon in the dead time then do it, but if not then you have to fake out the birds and dodge into the balloons.

You just have to not charge straight into balloons when the birds are about to spawn.

I got it! Fuck that race, never doing that shit again.

The lighting dodging isn't bad if you go to that one spot where you can time when they strike. If you try to just dodge random strikes it's pretty frustrating.

Alright, just completed the Celestial weapons for Tidus, Yuna, Khimari and Auron, and I used the crest for Rikku and Lulu. I highly doubt I'm ever going to get Lulu's sigil. -_- I still don't have Wakka's weapon or his crest or sigil, I'll do that later. Tidus now hits for around 27k, which actually isn't all that much XD But it's better than the constant 9999s he was hitting earlier.
