The Middle School Teacher in North Dakota was bashed by "concerned parents" who mailed over 20 pages of her snarky tweets against their kids and themselves to the school administration.. Her tweets insulted mothers of autistic students as "monsters" and mocking students for seeking "attention" She wrote "My tweets may have been distasteful, but don't illustrate what kind of educator i am"..she doesn't use her name or face as she was an anonymous tweeter The bio read "Just another teacher trying to hide from her students on social media. If you're a student, go away" Her twitter was on private before being deleted but several of the mean tweets were made public..she joked about writing "monsters" of which meant "mothers" and then said #samething The school admin were not aware of the tweets and said they will review the material and discuss her future at Liberty Middle School. Sheridan made special needs education as part of her platform as Miss Montana and said "I have also been in the home where a disability is always prevalanet and i have seen what it means to be autistic, or just 'different". i love walking into a classroom, creating a candid and safe environment, and by being a resource to the personal questions student have about disabilities" Have you ever had a mean teacher before? let's see what people will vote. Anyway, kind of a huge difference between insulting adults and insulting the students left in your care each day, why are they even comparing the two? One's kind of a lot worse than the other. Regardless, it seems pretty common sense not to insult your students like that.
