For the most part, I'm all in favor of SP, as normally they're reasonably priced for the content they give. Reiterate, most part, not all of them.
This one takes the cake, though. http://www.siliconera.com/2017/04/14/blue-reflection-shares-schedule-waves-dlc-9180-yen-season-pass/ Season pass for upcoming JRPG, Blue Reflection (which actually looks pretty fun). 9,180 yen. Roughly, $85. "WOW! Holy crap!" I know you must be thinking. "What does it contain? Probably a bunch of awesome, large side quests and optional bosses and what have you." No. It's costumes. Maybe I've gotten too used to the way Tales games handle cosmetic DLC and their prices so this doesn't even bother me anymore. I'd probably be more annoyed if it was an expensive season pass for unfun content.
How much do season passes usually go for in Japan? When I went there many years ago, the first thing I noticed was how much games cost. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
