The closest I've built a complex machine from scratch is some digital circuits using pre-made transistors...although I have an idea on how to make a simple NAND transistor with diodes.

I put together a book case. It had a lot of parts and instructions. I'm honestly surprised I was able to do it. I felt accomplished >_>

We made a hovercraft thing for our Engineering semester-long group project.

I made like 0 contribution though. Don't know how I passed that class.

i assembled a pontiac 400 stroker for my 71 lemans ~10 years ago.
in 7th or 8th grade i made a replica trebuchet that functioned so thats probably the most complicated machine i did all the manufacturing of parts and design for.

Same here with a dresser and microwave stand. Although I did put a couple parts of the stand on backwards.

E: Serious response: nothing. I've done a bit of carpentry, but nothing with moving parts.

Haha, yeah. The very top of the bookcase is on backwards. So it's showing plywood (or whatever it is) instead of white. Not sure how didn't notice that, haha.
