man that video is terrifying. so let's say that you smoke weed one night and get pulled over while driving a couple nights later. since you'd still have traces of marijuana in your blood you could theoretically still get arrested or get a DUI, even though you're sober, right? That's so fucked up. This just gives cops another loophole to arrested people (like how they pick up gang members for petty drug possession because they suspect them of being involved in gang activity)

Yes, that's exactly right and happens everyday. I've officially spooked myself for the night. The fact I have a DUI on my record already, when a cop pulls me over and sees that I'm going to be automatically stereotyped and they will try and pin another DUI on me. It makes me legit want to move to a big city and just use public transportation and Uber. This shit is a trap.

I feel your pain, holmes! But I would have taken 6 months in jail over the 3 years in drug court I've been suffering through. Imagine 3 drug tests every WEEK... that cost $7.50 each. And are doing etg tests for alcohol, going back 80 hours. No way around it.

If true that does still suck for people who get arrested falsely.

Watch the video, sometimes the accusations have STILL been held up in court and led to a conviction, even when the lab results came back as negative.

I'll give you guys an example of a guy who has just been placed in this DUI program with me. The same program I've been trapped in since 2014.

He told me when he was pulled over, he blew a 0 on the breathalyzer. This wasn't enough for the cop. The cop wanted to draw his BLOOD at the station. He literally told the guy, that, "If you don't come get your blood drawn at the station, I'm going to charge you with obstruction of an officer."

So he went to get his blood drawn and THC from a week ago was in his blood and he was charged with DUI and placed in this insanely expensive and difficult program with me and hundreds of others in my city.

It's just another horror story...

You do realize he's had 3 dui's correct? He only made it worse for himself each time.

The real fact of the matter is that he always used to treat it like a joke. He never had to do 3 drug tests a week before. He'd skip his court-ordered classes and drug tests because he didn't think he did anything wrong or give a fuck. Any money he made to support himself he blows on smokes and stupid shit like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards, rather than yenno, paying for his court-ordered classes and drug tests.

He legitimately is where he is now entirely through his own doing. He could've been out a long time ago.
