For what I'm paying, it's a simple good burger that doesn't need all these extra fixin (i.e. bacon, avocado, etc,) in my opinion. Five Guys or The Habit are good too but I'll be paying almost twice or more for something similar. For something that is just simply beef patty, lettuce, tomato, some sauce, and maybe a few extra stuff, personally for me I feel it shouldn't be that costly. Nowadays I'm trying to eat less so usually just order a hamburger with double meat, extra whole grilled onions, and chopped chili. The whole thing cost me only about $3.43 with Los Angeles county tax. I mistaken their Jr. burgers once for the kids meal only to realize later that's their single patty burger which are more ideal for me. The issue I mostly have with some burger joints is that they give too much, as odd as that may sound. Five Guys definitely load you up on fries and their Jr. burger is bigger than most other burgers. I still feel I am getting my moneys worth but I would prefer if most places offered smaller size orders for a lower price than have only one size and one price and you gotta choose between eating it all in one sitting or saving half for later but by then it's not as fresh. The Hat is another place where their fries come in only one size and cost about $4-5 but it is enough fries for maybe 3-4 people. Their strawberry shake was awful. I'm not seeing the dirt cheap pricing, either. I had two double doubles (since one hardly starts filling me up, and I weigh about 170 lbs) and a large shake and it was nearly $10.
