Poll of the Day > Remember VIP users? Do they still exist?

The help section says it's still a user level, but I think I've only ever seen somebody with it once and GameFAQs is notorious for rarely updating the help. What's the point? This doesn't exactly strike me as a site where a lot of big gaming industry personnel come through. Plus nowadays anybody can just make a simple game and say they're an indie developer, or making a website or YouTube channel and say they're part of the gaming media, so the title doesn't have as much meaning.

@Gamechamp3k you should see if you can get VIP status for shits and giggles since you have a decent-sized YouTube channel. I want to know how low the standard is

I'm pretty sure VIP is for people who actually work in the industry, not people who run youtube channels

YouTube channels are practically part of the gaming media nowadays (they often get sent early copies for promotional/review purposes and have E3 credentials) but I could see GameFAQs not accepting them in their standards
