Now it's on. The best of Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon's history against each other. I've included three live action shows, if you don't like it, too bad. I'm fairly confident these are the best and most memorable of these network's original programming. Which side will be the last one standing?

Not sure Teen Titans can win this round...

I wasn't allowed to watch ren and stimpy when I was younger, but I did see all the episodes as an adult which is a different perspective. I appreciate it more as being groundbreaking on its adult humor and screw yous to the censors, but as a show itself it's not that great and for every good influence it had there's a ton more forgettable or awful rip-offs. The gross outs and tantrums were also kind of grating. Still, a great style and some good plots/musical numbers.

I loved Ren and Stimpy. But it was essentially just an endless stream of potty humor. Teen Titans had so much more. I'm not saying it was super deep or life changing. But it did have real stories and character development. I cared what happened to those people in that show. It had so much more to it that was memorable for me. There were times that it made me genuinely happy or genuinely sad. With Ren and Stimpy, even though I loved it, I was just waiting to giggle at the next fart joke. While I remember the characters I don't really remember anything they said or did.

That's what makes Teen Titans the much better show for me.

I still randomly sing the "Log" song from time to time.

The show did become almost completely un-watchable after John K left though.

I always hated Ren and stimpy, mostly gross out humor bleh, south park can get away with it sometimes due to the art atyle but RS is gross from the artsyle alone too

I would've voted for Ren and Stimpy if I'd checked the totals first. This one is really close. I love Ren and Stimpy for its complete subversion of what a kid's TV show was supposed to be. Sometimes the humor gets a bit too gross for its own good, but it's mostly great. Teen Titans is certainly the more polished show, but that's something Ren and Stimpy never really aimed to be.

I always hated R&S. I've never liked potty humor, even as a little kid, which is also one reason I don't like South Park. I think R&S sucks though and "subverted" typical cartoons in a negative way. I love things that break the mold, more so than just about anyone, but it did it in a way that just made it worse. It only succeeded because the 90s, for some reason, was the era of gross out humor. Thank goodness that's mostly gone.

R&S was groundbreaking and defiantly gross. There was a whole episode dedicated to the love of a fart ffs. I liked how they used Edvard Grieg music regularly.

Ren & Stimpy was all laughs that pushed the early 90s envelope--the times were . . . quaint--but Teen Titans had substance that continues to mean something today. Thus, I vote the latter.
