Probably not. 90s/early 00s millenials were woke. We know this is all a simulation and we are at the mercy of a mutinous network of artificial intelligence, and the only one who can save us is indeed one of us: an indebted business systems analyst who can only afford rent by hacking proprietary software like movies and other stupid shit.

Fucking kids these days.

Have you seen Robocop and Terminator? People watch highly acclaimed movies that came out before their time constantly.

Oh he did say movies didn't he. I've kind of forgotten the 2nd and 3rd ones exist for the most part.

The 2nd and 3rd movies were really big at the time - but I largely forget they exist.

The first Matrix on it's own is still a masterpiece.

This. I feel comfortable consigning Reloaded and Revolutions to the dust bin of cinema history.

Going to see Matrix Reloaded was part of one of my friends' birthday party back in 2003. The highway chase is still a really good scene.
