He said "He struggled alot when i was sick. I couldn't walk, i couldn't go to the bathroom on my own. He had to go through all that and still go to school. And i said, if i make it through this, i'm going to make his prom the best" It started on June 2 that had a live Arabian camel a rented Lambo, Range Rover, Rolls Royce, 3 tons of sand, and 3 SEXY DATES who wore customed designed gowns costing $1500 each and Giuseppe Zanotti, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent shoes at $1000 to $1400 per pair!!..not ot mention 3 styles by chey custom made outfits for him!! She said she couldn't make it without his help of her only son when she got a stroke in 2014 and diagnosed with preliminary thyroid cancer that still gives her seizures...and all this, her son still got a 3.76 GPA at Simon Gratz Mastery Charter and is attending Delaware State in the fall to study chemical engineering..and she wanted to reward him BIG for all his work. But people criticized her heavily and thought it was crazy o spend that much on a teen party.. One person said "Fun fact: it will take 200+ years for black people to close the wealth gap. This isn't the way, my people" But she fought back and said "Please tell me why it's wrong to give our f*** kids a fairytale, even if it's just for one day. All the kids on prom i posted. I know them personally. Teach our kids that they can see us single mothers do this. Then they can do anything. They lived like rappers they see everyday just for 1 day. Let them live" This theme party was her second choice as her first was to send him AND his friends to the real city but decided to involve the community.. She said he's so into his religion and thought, this how they do it in Dubai. Although her son is Muslim, she is not but her husband, who passed away was.... In the end, it was all worth it just to see him smile as she was impressed with everything he's done and knows he will be successful one day.
