A lot of mainstream media seem to possess awful rationale and perspectives when it comes to islam. They go very lightly on the Islamic angle when something happens like in Nice or Manchester. Generally they will hesitate until the last moment, when it's undeniably Islamist terrorism; straight out the IS textbook - and then say it was terrorism. With the post incident situation, they will make a certain deal out of any instances where a Muslim person goes and treats casualties or drives them home in their cab for free. Following this logic here, and reviewing similar media channels (on their handling and reporting of the event involving the van driver and his attack on muslims) you should expect a similar tone to be adopted. But - You won't hear a big deal about any random black cab drivers, who happen to be Christian or atheist etc - providing victims and shocked passers by, free rides to a hospital or their home. Doubtful you will hear talk on all the Christian, atheist etc doctors and nurses, plus other emergency service personnel who are there doing everything they can to help these new victims. But they will - immediately label it terrorism. It's not news. Agreed. But it becomes news when it comes to propping up their pro Islam bias at times of Islamist terrorism being perpetrated. You just don't have this media determination that takes such pains to defend any other demographic group.
