Nobody else has been granted access to it either. I have this thing set up where I get a text message every time my credit card is used. All I spent today was eight bucks on a Burger King meal. Got the text for that, as I should.

Just a few minutes ago I got a text telling me 18.04 was charged to my account. I look on my bank account online and sure enough, I got charged for that. I'M BEING ROBBED!!

Call your bank and tell them what's going on. They'll issue you a new debit card.

Can't you be charged for overdrawing? Or is that not a thing where you are?

Somebody deposited a test $20 into my cousin's account and it was caught as attempted thievery before they made a withdrawal. She got to keep it.

In a similar tale of criminal loserness, a few years ago a guy attempted an armed robbery at the bank down the road and the ERT (basically SWAT) was having coffee at the Starbucks in the same strip mall. Rekt.

I've never encountered a bank that disallowed overdrafts without some monthly surcharge for overdraft protection. And your debit card should have a number on it for 24 hour service to report lost or stolen cards.

Is it a credit union? They should still have the service available online through their electronic banking services.

I've never known a bank to not allow overdrawing, then charge you for it. They want your money, and that's a very easy way to get it.

Yep. It's a fee for every overdraft plus a fee per day for being overdrawn. It adds up quickly.

Even if there is a fee for overdrawing, I think I'm willing to bite the bullet on that to prevent more if my money getting stolen.

It won't prevent that. It will put your account into debt AND charge you fees for it. Call the number on your card.

Yeah it's literally just going to be more money getting stolen because you'll be going negative from the money they're taking and the overdraft fee.

I just called the number on the back, it took me to the bank, and it's telling me the office hours are over. I tried to press 2 to "report a lost or stolen debit card" multiple times, as that was the closest option to my problem, but it would just keep saying that it doesn't recognize the input I'm giving. Even though I'm definitely pressing 2. Fuck this shit, this bank is getting ditched so hard.
