I remember watching the car chase when the events were initially unfolding and watching the verdict back in 5th grade. Of course, I remember "If it does not fit, you must acquit." The events in between, though, I had no idea about. Didn't care much about this kind of thing when I was 10.
I remember the whole (most of the?) classroom applauding when the not guilty verdict was read. But man... IMO, it's pretty clear that OJ did it. The prosecution screwed up in so many ways that it ruined their case. Mark Fuhrman was probably the death knell of the whole thing. I remember seeing OJ try on the glove and it was pretty obvious that he was trying to make it seem like it didn't fit. I also remember Johnnie Cochran being regarded as a master at his craft, and the actor that portrayed him did a masterful job, imo. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
