YYC's new international terminal sucks.

There's nothing to do there and it always takes like 5 centuries for your bag to show up after clearing customs. I've legit had to wait 30+ minutes for my bag on multiple occasions when flying in from the US.

How early are you? I've literally checked my bag 6+ hours before a flight on several occasions. Weird that they won't let you check it now.

I am flying with KLM, so they dont always have agents there. Unlike westjet, airCanada, and those few us ones who always have agents on the floor.

I think they share the checkin with British Airways

Ah, that makes sense then.

Pretty much all my travel has been with the major airlines. WestJet, Air Chaos, Delta, American Airlines, United Fight Club, etc. With the exception of the flights from Houston to Angola, which were through some company called SonAir.

I've heard good things about KLM, well, as good as reviews for any airline can really be. So hopefully it's all good and there aren't any issues.

A plane is a plane is a plane. It's just a bigger plane that they can cram more people into.

Unless you're in first or business class. I've never flown first class, but business class is pretty dope.

From what I have seen (through several sources) business and first are not drastically different on some airlines. If i had the money to purchase either, and the choice of getting a ticket, i would go with first if i got a private room

For the most part I find babies to be fine on airplanes. Oddly, they usually sleep right through it.

Toddlers on the other hand... They're the devil on flights.

Anyways it was a decent first day.
Had sex, a good nap. Though splet a bit to long wasnt feeling so well early afternoon
A mix of exhaustion, and dehydration i believe.

Now its like 4am and havent really slept much over night. Hopefully i can sleep a bit though

Hopefully i sleep well tonight.
Havent had a full 6-8 hours for over 24 hours now, and it is affecting my appetite i think.
I have tried eating (both breakfast and dinner today) and couldnt down much without feeling ill. I am positive it is just me being over sleepy. I have had two "naps"
One at midnight last night, though that one i was legit trying to sleep. And another one at about 11am today. Both only like 1-2 hours long. I am forcing myself to stay up till 11-12 tonight just to get me into the right sleep cycle. Hope it works

As a man who has had to constantly deal with jet lag, here's how it goes.

Day 1) Force yourself to stay up until the normal bed time of the place you're at (no napping!).

Day 2) Wake up at a reasonable hour. Don't oversleep. This night will be the worst, as even if you get up early, you'll likely have trouble getting to sleep.

Day 3) Wake up early again. From now on your internal clock should be reset and you'll be fine.

Seriously, if there's one thing I can't stress enough when it comes to jet lag is do not nap. Napping makes it so much harder for your body to adjust.

Well my appetite is back this morning. Thats good
I had trouble sleep, think it was cause i was hungry, and i had an early evening coffee

Now if i can manage to stay awake for 14-16 hours without sleeping i should be golden for the rest of my trip.

Right now i am eating a breakfast buffet. Goat cheese, bacon, eggs, and mini pancakes.
Though they dont have maple syrup, my inner Canadian is yelling.
