Nope, ANTIFA and BLM hate groups are just as bad, but the far left is becoming more of an extreme cult taking advantage of media spotlight. I didn't care about the statues, but problem is when you give them an inch, they take a mile....

Statues were not enough, now we're going after gravesites? What's next we have to arrest anyone with family ties to these people for crimes of Slavery? This extremism is just costing them votes and will cost them 2020. I'm actually glad Trump won. It has brought out the true colors of the far left.

They are crazy extremist, nobody is defending it. If I wanted to defend it I would link you the reminders of BLM/Antifa terrorists killing Police officers in Dallas and torturing a white handicap child.

The point of the post is that its never enough when you cave to these people. We removed those statues, now they want more and destroy all the gravesites?!....what's next?

I agree, it's not a valid comparison. White supremacists (neo-nazi, KKK, etc) have done a lot more damage than ANTIFA and BLM groups. By the way, the man responsible for the Dallas shooting wasn't part of BLM, and in fact, was so crazy that he was blacklisted from actual anti-white hate groups. He acted on his own and his actions were condemned by BLM. The four that tortured the man with a disability weren't affiliated with any hate groups.

White supremacist groups are much more organized, influential, larger, and have long-standing and documented memberships. They cannot be compared to a few people here and there that "seem to be" connected to black supremacist groups.

No, Trump is awesome. His comments once again are being criminally misrepresented and taken out of context by the MSM to slander him.

I also find it funny that people dont believe in MSM fake news. These same people decry big investment banks, oil companies, telecom, etc etc. Basically any large company, they hate and they think theyre out to hurt the consumer.

But massive for-profit global media megacorporations? Noo way. They are impeccable. No way they would ever collude on narratives or try anything shady.

Lmao.

Sadly, California always votes Democratic (aside from Arnold Schwarzenegger). I wish it was a swing state.

I voted for Gary Johnson myself. I couldn't bring myself to vote for either of the other two (no offense intended for those who did), and it's not like it matters anyway.

I actually think California would change a lot demographically if we switched to a popular vote system.

There are a lot of people who don't vote because "my state always goes XXX". It would be interesting to see the outlying areas of California and how much would come from them if every vote actually counted.

California has a huge conservative population. They just have two huge liberal areas as well.

I would prefer that myself. I keep voting, but yeah, i do feel like it's useless.

It might help with the other parties too. It's just sad that every vote is really just between two people.

The irony of this is liberals watch MSNBC. Trump has you guys so ready to take it for him that he's convinced you guys to attack the centrist network that no one watches. Yet we're the ones being told what to think, lmao!

He just says "THEY'RE THE ENEMY!" and then you guys get all worked up and start whining about how they've hurt your feelings today. 9 times out of 10 they've done so by quoting Trump word-for-word. Typically followed by a DJT tweet where he tries to backpedal or distract.

Easy to fool a fool, I suppose.

The downside is that the people he's spurring into greater political involvement are precisely the sort of people who probably shouldn't have a voice in politics in the first place.

And that, while people may be becoming more political active, I've seen almost no evidence that any of those people have increased their political intelligence or awareness in any meaningful way. So now we've mostly just got way more people shouting really loudly about issues they in no way understand.
