Double save file. One in dungeon, one out. Saves you if you make stupid choices.

Also, when you find Temperance, max that fucking link. It's the best link, and it has the best reward.

It's pretty easy to get the good ending this time around, so I wouldn't worry about that.

The saving is pretty generous, you can always reset to a week ago. That being said, if you did a lot of stuff in that last week, it can be super painful to reset to a week ago, so keep that in mind.

grinding for 300k moneys in dungeon 3 (or earlier) is advised but not necessary

always have a book with you because theres free time on trains somedays. prioritize the ones in the school library if you care about trophies because it gets shut down later on

If possible always carry a matching Persona to any confidant you're going to hang out with (there are a few whom always level up so it doesn't matter, but for most having the matching persona levels the confidant faster)

If you're worried about fucking up just rotate to a new save file every few in-game days (you have 16 I think)

If you're close, go all the way to the Treasure regardless of your HP/SP. This is "securing a route" - you'll have to return to the Palace at a different time to obtain the Treasure and that's when you fight the boss.

Trust me, I've seen people hate that they were close to securing a route, then they go back and can't fight the boss and end up wasting a day.

All the dungeons but the first are easily completable in one day(Or two if they require a step outside.

That said, its tough, but the first dungeon is still possible to be completed in a day. It is of great benefit to do this, of course.

At some point later in the game you will be in a casino. Bet/spend nothing in the casino that is optional or outside the storyline. It is possible to get locked at this point and be unable to progress the dungeon, forcing a load to a prior time.

Rotate your saves.

Always try and complete dungeons as soon as you feel comfortable. Trying to do them last-minute can easily screw you over.

Once you get your first character, you will wish death upon him. He's probably the worst playable character in Persona history, outside of Ken. How bad do you have to be to suck almost as much as fucking Ken? Somehow, Atlus found a way. Note, it has NOTHING to do with combat. Let that sink in for a second.

My advice is use everyone else, cause everyone else in the party is cool, a girl, or both.

oh some things i remembered

theres a plant in your room that you can give fertilizer every 2ish weeks that will raise your kindness. always do that! theres 3 kinds and the more expensive ones give a bigger boost. the lvl3 one is story locked for a bit so try to go with 2 until then if you can afford it

you can buy a drink every sunday in...i forget where :(. it raises a stat and takes no time so is always worth it. kinda expensive early game tho

chariot rank 6 is also a priority as rank 7 can only be raised on one of like 15 days so getting it there fastly will help
