I just brought Dajh's soul back so I've done all the main quest missions. At this point it seems like I can't do anything but wander around and do sidequests until the days run out. Is there any place I have to go or something I have to do to trigger the endgame?

If I remember right it's just sidequests now so that you'll hopefully be the right level for the endgame once the days run out

You get stat bonuses by completing quests

Realize that by hunting all the encounters down in the early days means you've screwed yourself in terms of upgrading for the cycle. >_>

So basically, if I was already good to go for the endgame I could just use inns to sleep until the timer runs out?

I think so. Though there might have been an optional dungeon that opened up on the last day. Not sure what requirements, if any, it had for unlocking though. Didn't think it had any beyond being that day though.

Some side quests take multiple days too, but they unlock different costumes like Dark Knight.
