Full Throttle 10/11/17 12:17:46 AM #1:	What sentence do you predict this golem to get? 6 years to life 10 years to life 15 years to life View Results 17 y/o Jerk, Colter Danny Peterson plead guilty Tuesday to shooting a 14 y/o girl in the head because "he got annoyed that she messaged him on Snapchat"!! He plead guilt to first degree felony aggravated attempted murder for shooting Deserae Turner who nearly died after being shot and left in a ditch in the small Utah town of Smithfield He also plead guilty to a reduced second degree felony count of robbery Deserae sat with her parents as the judge read the plea and listed the girl's injuries. He shot her on Feb. 16th and ordered he and another, 16 y/o Jayzen Decker to be tried as adults.. The bullet and several fragments are still lodged in her brain and suffers partial blindness and paralysis on the left side of her body. Jayzen didn't actually shoot Deserae but he was the one who concoted the idea of carrying out the plan to kill her and called upon Colter to do it. Judge Angela Fonnesbeck said "He may not have pulled the trigger himself, but he did take a deliberate and specific action to ensure the crime would be committed" Colter will be sentenced in February and will also testify AGAINST Jayzen as well. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 15 years to life but the judge can reduced it to 6 to life or 10 to life.. Deserae doesn't want to talk about her injuries but is happy to be alive and that she's "tougher than a bullet" as she likes to ride horses and practice karate. The crime shocked the small community and to hear that 2 teenage boys concocted the murder while playing VIDEO GAMES and their desire to get rid of a girl who was texting one of them..They were on XBOX Live discussing their murderous plan.. Apparently one of the girls had feelings for one of them and he was getting sick of it and said "it would be pretty easy to get rid of her. Let's get this done bro" Deserae said she considered these guys to be her friends and was left in utter disbelief when she awoke to learn they shot her and left her to die..
