I still think it's a bit... rough. The higher difficulty seems to be based mainly on a less-powerful Kirby and unforgiving level objectives, including some dumb perception-based minigames. I like being a force of nature as Kirby.

Disney's Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers 2

It was very...underwhelming. The level designs weren't as creative as the first game and were pretty straight forward. The bosses are pretty easy and figuring out their patterns did not take that long. It was still a good game to play.

Only one new thing they added to the gameplay was when you grab a crate and keep moving forward, you can do a powered up throw indicated when the crate begins flashing. Good for one shotting certain enemies instead of having to defeat them with 2 crates, but you'll probably end up using 2 or more crates anyway considering you don't have much opportunities to do this new move.

The first game is just better in every way IMO.

Gekisou Sentai Carranger: Zenkai! Racer-Senshi (Super Famicom)

Another game I found out last year I never knew that existed until now.

This is the Japanese adaption of Power Rangers Turbo published by Bandai and developed by Natsume.
Just like the other Power Rangers games on SNES, it plays exactly like them.

It's very fun. Easy to pick up and play. It's also very short (only 5 levels) and a little on the easy side.
It has a good ending and a bad ending.

If you're a fan of Super Sentai/Power Rangers, you should definitely check it out.

I came for the scares, I wasn't expecting any feels. We're talking Last of Us level feels here. I'm so sad this game didn't sell as well as it should. Hope a sequel comes out but I doubt it.

Ghost Trick (Nintendo DS)

Uncharted 4 (PS4) - Platinum'd

Finally got around to getting the platinum here. I started playing it off the bat on Crushing difficulty and man that was tough. I feel like UC4 was more difficult than the previous three. Overall the game was solid though, story was nice and the graphics were good.

That's saying something because there was some brutally unfair firefight layout designs in Drake's Fortune .

The layout design is not really unfair in UC4, but there's a couple spots where there's a lot of enemies and they're pretty smart. It's definitely better designed than UC1, but I think the difficulty is comparable.

Shin Kidou Senshi Gundam W: Endless Duel (Super Famicom)

Very awesome fighter. Even better if you're a fan of Gundam Wing.

Kirby: Battle Royale (3DS)

It's fun. Different. I kinda wish the stuff implemented towards the end (power-up badges and oddly specific clear objectives) was in the whole game given the lack of variety in the minigames. Also notable for being one of the few modern Kirby games in which King Dedede is the main villain without being mind controlled or anything.

Kaizou Choujin Schbibinman Zero (Super Famicom)

This game was originally on the Satellaview service.

I didn't know what was going on in the story but it was enjoyable enough to play it through.

It was very fun! It's an action/platformer with a little beat em' up element thrown in the mix.

You can do a 4 punch combo, jump kick, sweep, and can do a Hadouken-like projectile you can charge up to fire.

Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus HD (PS3)

Very short, mostly very easy, but very fun. I'm not a fan of the typical collect-a-thon final level with tons of minigame-styled levels, but it is what it is. Also got the platinum, but that may have been the quickest and easiest platinum ever.

I'm hoping the hook is legit. It would be nice to see the Ruvik storyline resolved. Although...it's just it appears Sebastian's story is done. The 3rd game will either set Sebastian up as Chris Redfield, an "expert" in STEM stuff, or it will go Silent Hill 3 and have you play as Lily aged all the way up.

Assassin's Creed: Unity (PC)

I can understand the flack this game gets but to be honest, it feels like a grown up version of Ezio's tale. It's not without its flaws though, but I can appreciate the work put into this game easily. It's a shame I hear that the next game will have a small and less detailed map to work with.

The Jetsons: Invasion of the Planet Pirates (SNES)

This game had some really good ideas in some of the gameplay, but some of the level designs were really insufferable and I ended up not having fun in the end.

You play as George Jetson and have been given a mission by Captain Zoom to stop Zora and her space pirates. You use a gadget called the Pneumo Osmatic Precipitator (P.O.P. for short). You can use it like a vacuum to suck in enemies and blocks. You can also use it to suck yourself towards the wall to climb up walls and the ceiling. Some of the ceiling jumps you had to do were quite tricky to pull off. Some of the boss fights were pretty fun I'll admit except for that Robot Cat...

I also found out this game was copied and pasted from a Japanese game called Yokai Buster: Ruka no Daibouken

Isometric platforming is a pain in the ass, and the punishing level design doesn't help. Seems like a rough game to 100%, even without the limited lives/time playthrough. The port is pretty terrible. But the level design is creative, varied and fun and there's a certain feeling of exploration and mystery that captures the retro feel.
