Sonic23004 02/02/18 3:01:39 PM #1:	I'm looking to finally replace my decrepit dinosaur of a laptop from 2010, and haven't really followed the market so I don't know what's considered best these days. Price isn't necessarily a factor, but I doubt I need anything high end. The only game I'm likely to play is Final Fantasy XI, which shouldn't tax modern hardware at all. That being said, I would like to pick up a quality laptop, solid build, well designed, etc., that will comfortably last for a while. It was good, has lasted to this day -- although it's on its last leg -- but from the outset it was a lot louder than I would have liked, even just doing something basic like browsing the internet. The fan kicked in for almost nothing. Not sure if this is a common problem, or if mine was just an exception that ran too hot, but it made me at least a bit wary of the brand moving forward. If you have an XPS 15, have you had any similar problems with heat/noise? --- Gameplay is a major part of video games, yes.
