Speaking of eggs, I notice the fast food places like to skimp on eggs when you get a breakfast sandwich. You either get a really flat egg (Hardee's) or a tiny sliver (Burger King). Never been interested in McDonald's breakfast...

I know you said that you're not interested in McDonald's breakfast, but they do give more egg...

That meme that goes around Facebook "What's your score?" and you get points by being a picky eater and not eating something (each item is worth one point) - I got a score of two. Liver and (raw) coconut. If anything, I add food, like bacon and cheese, or cajun seasoning to a chicken alfredo, etc. If I ever needed something removed, I wouldn't eat whatever it was on in the first place.

Actually there was one other thing. Some gelatinous vegetable(?) I tried in Japan. It was a shade of bile and had black speckles (IIRC). 0/10. Would not recommend.

@Revelation34

Revelation with a revelation! I had no idea. I don't care for beans in chili either, but not so much that I won't eat them or have them removed. But good to know Texas has a couple things I like.

That is meatballs or sausage, I.E. spiced and flavored. Chili already has spices and flavor added to it. Meat is in it for texture, not flavor.

Cheese is the most common for me. I'm not very fond of it (Its okay on pizza but that's about it for me). Getting people to not put cheese on a burger is way harder than it should be. Even at places that charge extra for cheese, and even if I DONT pay for the cheese, 1/3 time they'll put cheese anyway.

I don't put beans in my chili, because I don't like the texture of it. I modified a recipe to make it more to my taste. I make it with a mix of ground beef and ground pork, onions, garlic, canned tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapeos, just a tiny bit of dark chocolate (making it a mole chili, I guess) and a bunch of spices and herbs like cumin, cilantro, oregano, parsley, salt, pepper and chili powder, to only name a few. Also, I love to serve it with a spoonful of sour cream! And with some cornbread!

I like chili both with and without beans. I usually start with a combination of ground beef and ground pork (or sometimes pork sausage for texture), then add diced tomatoes, fresh chopped garlic, onion, salt+pepper, and various other veggies and/or seasonings depending on what I have and how it tastes along the way.

As a condiment, feel free to get weird with it. Make it hot, make it with weird ingredients, let the recipient figure out how much they should have on their own...but if it's a significant portion of the actual meal it should by necessity be edible on it's own for 4/5 people.
