Didn't see an article on CNN, but this one comes with tweets which you all so love.

http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2018/03/20/obama-2012-campaign-sucked-data-from-facebook-former-official-says.html

I don't know all what is going on with the analytica company or whatever in comparison to this, but maybe that relates.

Oh and for some anti-Trump news.

WSJ I think posted an article and picture of Story Daniels passing a lie detector test before on her relations with Trump.

And some other girl named...Karen McDougal is suing the National Enquirer for paying her 150k for her story of an affair with Donald Trump and saying they killed her story to silence her.

She is a former Playboy model I think.

Maybe.

As Carol Davidsen, former Director of Integration of Media Analytics for Obama for America put it last night in a series of tweets reflecting back on the 2012 campaign: Facebook was surprised we were able to suck out the whole social graph, but they didnt stop us once they realized that was what we were doing. They came to office in the days following election recruiting & were very candid that they allowed us to do things they wouldnt have allowed someone else to do because they were on our side.

Pretty scathing remarks towards Fox News by one of their departing analysts, Lt. Col Ralph Peters

In my view, Fox has degenerated from providing a legitimate and much-needed outlet for conservative voices to a mere propaganda machine for a destructive and ethically ruinous administration.

The most conservative Democrat in the house in a close race to hold onto his seat against someone more progressive. According to wasserman, he's a slight favorite with the votes left.

He voted against the aca, and is anti abortion. It's a very Democratic district, so I honestly thought he would lose. Shows the power of incumbent advantage.

Oh, Rauner's days were always numbered. He's signed too many liberal-leaning bills into law to hold onto the GOP base, and being a Republican in a Democratic wave year (especially in Illinois) was never going to end well for him.

Pretty much every poll shows a way higher motivation to vote from dems over republicans. I'm not worried about that. I'm worried about dems winning the popular vote by 3-4% and still not getting a majority. I'm also worried about the very unfavorable Senate map.

But by that logic, there is no possible blue wave evidence that he will accept.

Bad presidential approval
Republican retirements
Strong Democrat recruitment
Generic ballot
Special elections

Like, there is literally every possible indicator. The only thing republicans have going for them is that they drew a lot of these lines. But they lost that edge in a key state too.

Rauner vs. Pritzker is the one matchup I'd actually have to think about, specifically because Rauner has been so liberal leaning on social issues and has not been super hardline on fiscal issues either. I voted for Biss today but also liked Kennedy just fine. Pritzker I am not a huge fan of, particularly since he basically bought this election (he's been running ads non stop here on cable and Hulu for like four months already now) and he has connections to Blagovich who is still very much a bad name here in Illinois. When I got to the polling place I almost asked for a republican ballot just because I absolute hate Ives and did not have much of a preference between Biss and Kennedy and knew they were unlikely to win anyway.

...well, I mean, I would think about it in a normal year. Considering how unhappy I am with how Merrick Garland was handled and how mealy mouthed republicans as a whole have been towards Trump, I am voting straight democrat this November regardless. I've actually never done that before strangely enough.

TENNESSEAN - Nashville lawyer who introduced Russian operative to the NRA has ties to Blackburn

Among Preston's Russian clients and longtime friends is Alexander Torshin, a prominent Russian politician who has close ties to President Vladimir Putin. Torshin is under scrutiny for illegally channeling Russian funds to the National Rifle Association in an effort to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Preston first introduced Torshin to then-president of the NRA David Keene in 2011 and the pair attended the NRA's annual convention in Nashville in 2015.

Among Preston's U.S. clients: Republican Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn and her son-in-law, Paul Ketchel, a Nashville healthcare entrepreneur.

In 2005, Preston represented Blackburn when she was facing allegations of possible campaign finance violations. He also provided legal services to her campaign in 2007, according to federal filings.

https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/2018/03/20/russia-nashville-lawyer-marsha-blackburn/431448002/?from=new-cookie

This could hurt her Senate chances against Democrat and former governor Phil Bredesen.

TWITTER - Marco Rubio (R-FL Senator)

I dont agree with congratulating #Putin but bigger outrage is this leak that could only come from someone in @POTUS inner circle. If you dont like President resign, but this ongoing pattern of duplicity holds potential for serious damage to the nation https://t.co/DHwXp63SYx

https://twitter.com/marcorubio/status/976414731958390784?s=19

I do fear leaking could be a concern for future Presidents based on what's happening this term, but also increased leaking is a sign of the chaos and unhappiness instilled by Donald's leadership. If you have an issue with duplicity, take it to the President -- king of duplicity.

While it is not the same, I disagree it is "intellecially" dishonest to point out that data has been used without the knowledge of users from both this and Obama's campaign.

You have a literal person that worked at the lead of it stating how they did something similar and how that Facebook would not have allowed them to do so, but turned a blind eye because "they were on the same side".

I do not think linking some person's opinion piece can change those facts.

I meet your opinion piece with this one.

It is intellectually dishonest because what people are mad about isnt the fact CA used big data so to frame it that way is silly.

Hey that guy asked to borrow your rake and you gave it to him so you cant be mad that I broke into your shed and stole it

Also they arent even trying to excuse this behavior. Theyre just hoping to muddy the waters so people dont care.
