the first thing people say is "people still play that??"

and it's like bro i wasn't playing it for two years straight, yeah i played for a while when it came out and for another little while when gen 2 came out, and yeah now im playing again since gen 3 came out

like don't get me wrong, i have no shame in playing a game that people assume died after a month of initial hype, but when the conversation is so predictable it just becomes annoying

I'm starting to think I'll never get another Legendary. I don't have a car so it's difficult to meet up with raid groups, and the ones I do go to I never catch the Pokemon. All I have are one Entei and one Mewtwo (the latter I'm pretty sure I only have because it has an increased catch rate due to its sheer rarity).

i'm not initiating

i sometimes let the game idle when it's cloudy outside because the GPS wanders and gathers me a little egg/buddy distance, so people walk over and see it open on my phone and ask about it

They had farfetched available in na for a short while, I wouldn't doubt they eventually gave the chance for the others as well.

I play every day. It gets me exercising a lot. Well, I exercise compulsively anyways because my epilepsy medication makes me manic depressive, and walking helps stave my bouts of mania, especially when I have something entertaining and motivating while I exercise. I've walked 2000 km since I started playing.

I'm not sure why playing it for 2 years straight is such a big deal, my friend has played it consistently since launch.

The game was a huge fad for about a month though so yeah that is why people say stuff like "People still play that?". It would be like finding someone that still collects Beanie Babies when for like a 2 year period in the late 90s they were stupidly popular. Though obviously Pokemon Go is not as old as Beanie Babies...

My friend has played since launch consistently and he is just about to hit level 40 the cap. The game is skewed to where catching up in levels is not to bad because like the last 5 or so levels take like 3x as long as the first 30ish levels or so combined.
