Current Events > Okay guys, last week I signed up to donate blood.

but only because the girl I like said she needed people to do it for something sorority-related I believe.

Literally the day before I discover she thinks of me in a very negative light. I have to do it April 3rd, and I wish I could not do it, but that would be being selfish on my part. I already was going to do it for a selfish reason, so I guess this is karma for me not doing the right thing for the right reason.

I feel like a schmuck because I only am doing it for a girl that dislikes me. Also, I hope I don't feel too bad afterwards. I have had blood taken from me before for my leg numbness that I still don't know the cause of, so I am not too worried about the needle being a pain.

I'm going to do it though as it would be selfish to not do it when I might be able to help someone out there. I feel bad that I had bad intentions for doing it though. I should have done it just because tbh.

When I was in high school I had to have my blood tested and later that day during football practice I dislocated my shoulder on the side that had blood drawn from my arm.

It was bound to happen. I like a girl, I try my best to not be the weirdo I am, but eventually my true nature will shine. It just sucks because she is the first girl that I ever told my feelings for (my first crush knew, but only because a friend told her, I never would have), and I feel like a loser.

Go to donate blood.

Wait until they wrap the band around your arm to get a vein.

After they stick the needle in start squeezing your fist to start the bloodflow.

When they try to take the needle out it should spurt everywhere.

Read up on blood donating and see if the blood you are going to donate wont end up in a bag alongside a pile of expired donated blood that whatever organization youre donating to couldnt use because they got too much blood donated to them when the legal market demand for it is low.

If the blood you are donating will end up unused, decline to go because of that.
