madadude 03/23/18 6:14:52 AM #5:	I want to watch a good shitty movie to clear my head, maybe watch Pompeii by PWS anderson. Paul WS Anderson is honestly an auteur and has a very clear and stylized sense as a director, his movies are still pretty much trash, but like... when it comes to good movies that are inherently trashy he is the guy. I REALLY want to watch the movie When a Women Ascends the Stairs, but I'm not really in the mood to watch a 1960 Japanese film right now, though I'm sure its amazing. God it looks so good. I love film you guys, ugh I just love art in general. It's beautiful, even disasters are beautiful in their own terrible way. Not all movies are art though, like Tarkovsky films and Bresson films and Kiarostami films etc. etc. are art and even Paul WS Anderson films are art... even if it isn't good art... but 90% of the shit that comes out is not fucking art and is mindless entertainment made by studios looking to make a profit by delivering the most generic thing they can. Like fuck Marvel movies honestly, some are entertaining sure, but they aren't good films and they certainly aren't fucking art. Not all movies have to be art I suppose, but I have an inherent stand against those who view films solely as entertainment. On the contrary I think getting drunk is quite good in a lot of ways, but still I recognize that you are right and that the majority of the many many societal issues that stem from alcohol are from people overdoing it, so the argument that getting drunk is bad isn't out of place, depends completely on person to person and incident to incident. As a matter of fact I tend to do things that I end up regretting more when I'm sober than if I am drunk or inebriated in another fashion, and this instance of being sad drunk is a very rare occurrence that has passed now.
