Listened to the newest Blackpink release. Didn't like it!

I particularly hated how the songs needed to remind me who I was listening to every now and then.

Like, saying bitch in a song is fine, nothing against it, but it was like "whoa did they just say bitch?"

i listened to the latest blackpink a bunch trying to like it, but i think i dislike every rap part on the album. it's a very YG album with all the attitude and posturing, but just kind of thrown together hapharzardly.

ddu-du ddu-du grew on me a bit, but really just the synth hook.

Listened to Mamamoo for the first time a few days ago.

After listening to Melting a few times, I really like about half the album, which means I am now a fan of Mamamoo. (Half is a pretty good ratio for me in Kpop, if I like half of a group's songs then I'm impressed!)

I'm still not a fan of their name but hey, if the music is good then I can't really complain
