The Preds have actually benefitted from a couple really lucky bounces. As much as they've dominated the games a bit of luck going the other way could have turned the series around.

I definitely think the Avs (and even to a lesser extent, the Devils) have acquitted themselves well in series where they're totally outgunned. They have nothing to be ashamed of here. The Wild and the Kings, on the other hand...

Man, this Sharks/Ducks game has been fun as hell.

Despite being an afterthought, because the teams are kinda weak and unlikely to go on to win the cup, I definitely feel like the Pacific has produced the most entertaining hockey so far.

I mean, they still have a decent shot at beating Vegas. At that point you are so far in crazier things have happened.

And I've been telling people Sharks/Ducks/Vegas/Kings are all pretty even. Should provide good games no matter who comes out(If the Kings D weren't decimated things would probably be much more interesting right now).

I feel like this stat probably isn't calculated and it would take a long time to do it manually.

But I'd be shocked if the Caps don't have the worst playoff success record, as the higher seed, of ANY TEAM in the four North American sports leagues.

Bobrovsky keeps making amazing saves. This series is over. Columbus has the better goaltending by a significant margin and the Caps simply CANNOT win series where that is true.

Hopefully this is a nice wakeup call for the Jets, so they don't think they can just walk past Minnesota. Need more disciplined play (though some of those penalty calls, for both sides, were quite soft), and to pray Tyler Myers isn't badly hurt.

Really? Because by my count, Columbus took three more penalties than they did. And it didn't matter. You know why? Because Bobrovsky made some goddamn saves which is something Caps goalies simply don't do.
