Beat the Crystal Tower, god this one was annoying.

IMO Behemoth King>Emperor>Exdeath>Hades

Behemoth King is such a BS boss to use in Crystal Tower, omni resistant, need dispel, AoE Stop and Slow and dumb phases where he becomes physical or magically immune. I think I spent more time juggling who to use between him and Emperor to make sure I had a party ready to deal with both of their tricks than actually fighting him.

Emperor is stupid as well but I used my Isgebind Team except I swapped Tyro for Edge, mostly used summons and ninja magic so I don't trigger the counter haste and I keep Edge's SSB in reserve to counter the dispels.

Exdeath was easy with a wind chain team of Bartz, Dorgann, Zack, Rikku and Rosa. Hades was Marche-food.

Also Dark banner tomorrow. Looks really lousy.

Yeah, these element banners have been a disappointment.

The fire one might still be good (we know it has Krile CSB and Vivi USB), except by the time it drops we'll be only a month away from the absolutely amazing fest banner 2.

Level all 3* elements to 50, 65, 80 and 99.

What else is there?

Beat first 6 4* magicite (mythril)
Beat Siren and Hades (mythril)
Level up 4* magicite to 50/65/80/99 (Arcana)

Dream Banners tomorrow, they'd better have Tyro (or better yet Ramza or Onion Knight's) Legend Materia. I feel robbed that global got shafted from Tyro's LM last time.

At least the level up are only arcana.... I can't imagine I'm beating all 8 4*s so I'm losing 2 mythril probably.

Dream Relic is up, thankfully Ramza and Tyro's LMs are in the selection this time. No Onion Knight through (but that wasn't in Japan at least)

Depends how much you use the USB since that already gives infusion. If you're using BSB2 or chain more it's worth it, if you stick to the USB it's probably better to pick a diffrent LM.

It would help to have goals instead of just mindlessly completing events and pulling on draws that seem fun.

I will say I feel like I need more healing help and magical damage help. My physical damagers of Cloud/Zack/Tidus/Beatrix put hurts on things.

I think I should make it a goal to finish the night mare dungeons because I have a bit of a feeling that my wind team is enough to eat some things, and tidus-solos may not be a joke at this point as I have everything for him but his lmr pretty much

With Tidus and Beatrix's USBs you've probably long powercreeped the nightmares that aren't super gimmicky like Guardian or Valigarmanda, as well as most of the current torments. We had to beat them back when abilities only did 2 hits and Burst commands were more effective despite their weaker multipliers, now you have Tidus and Beatrix doing 10+ hits with chases.

So what you're saying is its time to knock those out by obliterating them and then seeing what I've got, got it.

FFRK is the only game I play these days really as I am super busy, and in the last few weeks I got Beatrix USB, Zack USB, Cloud USB.

FWIW, Tidus's LMR appeared in the upcoming fest banners in Japan, while Ramza's didn't.

I have both and for me Ramza's is more of a game changer. I don't use Onion Knight though.

I'm not sure yet if I'm even going to do this draw. If I do, not sure what to take. Maybe Ashe, maybe Shadow? Any I should seriously consider?

Tidus's LMR is not great for him imo because his Ultra is so good and that enwaters you and you wanna use that early. So most of the time just using his +15% Water Damage LMR will give you better damage overall I think.

Half the reason you want it is for the good gear it's on though. High attack water boosting bracer hell yeah.

But I'd probably go for the Ramza one over it myself.

i mean, if you have Tidus's USB and not CSB, the LMR isn't a big deal. if you have the CSB and not the USB, it's huge. having them all myself, i tend to use the LMR/CSB/BSB2 and not the USB (or at least, not until the LMR is close to running out, but things are usually dead before then or die to the USB itself).

Just keep doing Nightmare stuff till you hit a boss you have trouble with and then make your decision on the LM that will help you.

Have you done the OSB dream draw yet? Vayne's a good choice since it's a dark boosting sword and he can work as both a physical and mage DPS in case you want to go mage for dark.

I think the problem is that I don't really have a lot of mage options and it isn't like I can select what relics I get, I just tend to get physical ones and so I built my team that way.

Good news is I am almost up to 250 mythril so I have some currency to burn in the coming months.

You have Rapha's USB so that's a start, it's the same as Onion Knight's USB except it has infusion instead of a EX mode. Also invest in Alphinaud for Valigarmanda and Neo Bahamut since he's a summoner and you have his USB.

Is Terra's OSB still relevant? I'm hoping to get some of her other good stuff in the fest and wondering if I'd get any use out of the OSB if I take it in the selection banner.

Also considering Vivi's for the +fire. I have a 5* fire rod already but no 6*. I don't have any other stuff for Vivi though except his ancient Unique.

Papalymo's is another option, in which case I probably would snag his LMR too. He's my best fire DPS right now and I think I'd be able to sub-30 Isgebind, but after the fest I'm not sure if I'll use him anymore.

If you have Terra's USB her OSB is still good, people sub30 Isgebind with the USB>Wrath+entrust+OSB combo.

The next FF14 event is supposed to star Papalymo so he may get a godly USB in the future. All of his relics have been good so far it's just he's falling behind because of his lack of a USB.

The USB gives quick cast (which also stacks with her trance) so I don't think just the infusion SSB will be fast enough.

I did both draws, got Cid (IV) SSB, Kefka LMR, and Vivi SSB.

Gonna wait a few more days before I make my selection and see if we find out what's on the fire banner. I'm leaning toward Shadow for LMR (I already have Tyro, Ramza, Tidus... Ashe is in the fest and I feel like I'll probably draw it if I select it now). For the OSB I'm leaning toward Vivi because it has +fire, but I haven't made up my mind yet.

Are any of the OSBs really worth getting if you're a conservative whale? I feel like OSBs don't move the posts enough to consider unless you're being a completionist for a character you really really like.

Like all the LMR draws are auto-do for me but yeah I almost feel like I'd rather just 11x on a fest banner than do the OSB draw.

Assuming you already have Orlandu's, then probably not. That's the only one that's up there purely in power level.

Some could be worth it in specific situations, for example if you need a dark OSB to beat Siren. Also I know some future content requires attacks that can break the damage cap, but I don't really know the details about that.

OSBs are mostly stat sticks these days but they do have their niches like with Kraken or Siren.

Orlandeau's still good in general because of Thunder God's Might.
