To defend my positivety for a moment, I am watching this season with someone who hasn't watched modern survivor and he is enjoying the hell out of it. We text the entire episode. And I think that makes me enjoy every little moment more.

Also yeah, if she wasn't top two, Michele wouldn't have gotten the edit that she did. She should have been proof that the editors need to give someone like her screentime. It's just wrong that Chelsea didn't get anything at all. Who cares if you're boring - you were put on the show for a reason. While Chelsea was just because they wanted a cheerleader, THEY DIDN'T EVEN MENTION THAT PART. Come the fuck on. Michele was there to be a babe all the same. So why couldn't Chelsea get... something?

I usually watch the season with a casual or two. This season, I'm watching it with someone but she just can't get into either.

(She's not liking big brother canada too much either, she wasnt a johnny fan and her favorites went out too early, and the crappy edit, but I LOVE this season, so her enjoyment is not a correlation to mine)

Also I watch Survivor with my dad, who has a really bad memory for this stuff. He's enjoying it more than I am. For reasons I don't understand.

Oh, and it's quite egregious to say I never gave the season a chance. I did. Almost every episode has sucked. I've only enjoyed the premiere, the Bradley boot, and the merge episode.

I don't believe my RHAP questions were that bad. The move to take out Morgan was objectively terrible, given how it screwed James and Libby over since they were sworn enemies of Naviti after that. No way could either of them survived their situations because of it. If they'd taken out Domenick, then maybe they'd have been able to work with Navitis going forward. Instead, they incited #NavitiStrong upon themselves.

And my emotional reaction was human. It would be nice if you guys were understanding as opposed to scathing, because what you did made it even worse.

Im enjoying this season to a certain extent. Way more than Inviso, anyway.

Im not a fan of the constant negativitiy either, GTM. Its draining. But some are frustrated and vocal about itnot much to do but take what you can get.

Sorry Andy, I agree with eaed. You ditched the season early and swore to abandon ship before it was even sinking, which in turn makes your uproar now seem convenient. I too find it difficult to take you seriously despite your valid criticisms.

The last time I was as negative as this group has been this season was back in SJDS during the pre-merge. Ive come to dislike how much I loathed that time period, I basically stomped my feet every episode, got loud too, and then realized life sucks when all I did was whinge week after week. Especially when others were enjoying themselves and didnt want to deal with me.

I guess everyone just needs to look on the brighter side? Im not sure.

I did that in HHH and now, except for the finale, I remember it fondly. Not Cagayan fondly, but fondly.

There is no bright side to this awful season. Believe me, I tried, but... I'm not Morgan. I can't find positivity in everything, no matter how hard I try. The inarguable fact is that I DID try, but I didn't find it. If you try to argue this, you are wrong and I will put you on ignore because you won't be worth any future breaths of mine.

I don't remember doing that at all. As I said, I was in a state of disarray at the time. Forgive me. But if I worded it wrong, then I worded it wrong.

Even so, I want a redo. A total redo of this season with the same cast. It can't get any worse than this.

This is not how you lay the blame. You don't blame us for your outbursts and disappointment. To say it's our fault for not accepting you as "just being human" is a terrible argument and will never win anyone over. To me, it seems... twisted? I don't think you intend to twist anything but somehow it gets that way. You gotta take responsibility for your own actions, your own responses. If you get annoyed and people push back on your frustration, it's not their fault.

And please, please, you don't need to bring up Morgan all the time. It doesn't translate well.

eaed wasn't dismissing you because of Morgan, he was dismissing you because you jumped ship before it hit the iceberg. And yes, I'm fully aware the first quote isn't about her.

If you want to hear some hard truth, here it is. This stuff is weird. Such as when you equated me to supporting bullies because I wasn't a big fan of Jess & Cody, or when you tried to outright manipulate darkx into reversing the outcome of Save My Survivor (which I'm still disgusted by to this day). You continuously have these "emotional human reactions" that I've never encountered before, are very unreasonable, and they continuously put me off.

I just want you to stop it, or at the very least be aware of it.

No where did I say anything about Morgan. You gave up for the season And somewhat famously ridiculed by your repeated attempts to get others to give up on the season. (Your attempt to cause an uproar during in the KIA chat room and the "I'm over this season" take in the mini hot take off that got absolutely squashed on the B&B.) You gave up on the season before it could get going and for that reason, in terms of Survivor Ghost Island, I cannot find value in your opinion. We have agreed in the past. You and I are both team Cambodia but again, in terms of Survivor Ghost Island your opinion doesn't matter to me because you have up on the season before there was anything to give up. Frankly, I feel a lot better knowing that Peridiam agrees with me.

I'm listening to the Know It Alls on the way to work and I know we're mad that Laurel didn't flip but I realized that maybe it would be better for her to flip next week. If you think about it if they flipped this week Laurel/Donathan are down 3-2 against the Naveti women. If they flip next week on any of the three then they are in a 2v2 and they have a fighting chance at the end instead of being down at the final 5. Does that make sense to you guys?

For the record, I think the Morgan boot is the ONLY truly good episode of the season.

Even the Chris boot...it was cool, but you look at it in retrospect and its pretty much just Chris, Dom and Wendell getting all the focus and screen time, with a scene of narration to explain why Angela/Des vote Libby. Its REALLY poorly edited, considering that its a thirteen-person merge episode.

I don't know why they couldn't target Domenick outright in a hardcore blindside - it happened to Andrea when she had that idol. In this case, that's the right move. You either get rid of him and the idol now or risk it being played against you in 2 days. Now, Domenick is going to play it at the next Tribal Council... and potentially on Wendell if he can gauge who the target is the way Joe did with Ashley's face last season. If he plays it right, I hope James goes home in the most delicious blindside since Scot Pollard fell to Aubry and Tai. And then I might watch again.

I went and listened to it, and the guy who sent in the take was Andy. Btw, his take 0 points for being absolutely cold because no one agrees. So wherever Andy has gone he's attempting to start a revolution against Ghost Island and clearly no one is listening lol

His revolution might work now because, for the people who care about their characters, this season does not have an even edit.

I ranked that in the bottom five episodes of all time. And I had a really ominous feeling from five seconds into the episode.

Oh, I still enjoyed that one in retrospect. My thoughts afterward were: "Awesome episode, but with Chris gone and therefore the central storyline concluded, my expectations for the remainder of the season are low." The rest hasn't even lived up to those low expectations. I chalk that up to the edit making the cast boring and the formulaic strategic nature. It's not that the merge episode itself is poorly edited, it's that the season only had one central storyline that concluded in that episode and they didn't plant any other seeds at any other time.

Okay, seriously...Im really not trying to incite anything, but aside from Morgan ultimately getting the boot, how can you possibly consider episode three a bottom 5 episode? You have NuMalolo frantically searching for the idol, while the show plants the seeds of Bradley as a prissy villain. You have the Dom/Chris war come to a head on NuNaviti as the Malolo minority control the votes. You have Libby emerging as a big social gamer and developing personal bonds (thus actually giving weight to the eventual blindside.). You have Chris getting a miracle salvation by going to GI, and getting an emotional scene about how the isolation affects him. And then the ending, where despite Doms alliance targeting Angela, Malolo flipped the script to take out Morgan instead.

Its a great episode overall, and Morgan was right in that sweet spot where she was visible enough that the blindside MATTERED (unlike Chelsea), but not so important that her boot was detrimental to the season (like Steph and Chris).

Unnecessarily cruel and vicious? Malolo made an amazing move in furthering a divide between Dom/Wendell and Chris/Angela, and it was the James/Don/Laurel faction that decided Morgan needed to go. I wouldnt be surprised if they did it specifically to weaken Libby and the pretty alliance, but targeting her for challenge strength isnt unheard of.

All Im saying is...please dont turn Morgan into another Haley Scarnato.
