I don't like marijuana. I don't like the way it makes me feel. I hate being so unfocused. I hate how I have to force the smoke into my lungs for it to activate at all.

It should stay illegal!

Eating chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream is perfectly legal, but nobody's forcing you to eat it.

Drinking alcoholic beverages when you're over 21 is legal, but no one here is forcing you to take a swig of beer.

Putting kahlua on your ice cream is legal too, but you don't have to put any topping on there if you don't want to.

Before I stray any further than that, I don't care for marijuana myself, but I support its legalization. I know no one will be forcing me to take up the stuff, nor will I be forcing it upon them. You'll have the same choice not to partake in it, when the day comes that it is fully legalized.

You don't live in a city? That's the problem with weed. It is forced on everyone. The smoke and smell gets everywhere. And while people who live in states where its legal are extremely quick to point out the law allows it, they're even quicker at "forgetting" the restriction in those laws (eg: states who make it illegal in public similar to open carry laws)

I do live in a city, and trust me when I say that there's no problem of that here in SoCal as much as you might think. Compare to the cigarette smoke that is literally everywhere.

No, the smell is pretty terrible, but you again won't experience as much of this in the city as some of us did in high school. Additionally, the smell has largely to do with what's mixed into the weed.

From my experience here (different city, obviously) it's everywhere. Popular parks are a cloud of weed smoke. God helps you if you have a deck and your neighbor is a pothead. People smoking near the doors to the subway (leaning on the non-smoking sign), so in winter the smoke gets all sucked in inside and in the worse cases it's bad enough to make you gag (fortunately that only happened to me once). Cigarette is worse, but the range is very short. Weed's range is super far, and the smell sticks to everything.

It's awful. The law as written in my state (where recreational weed is legal) is pretty good. The problem is everyone ignores it (as expected: they only heard "its legal!")

I was never a fan of the smell until i smoked it

Then again, my experience with weed was crazy but I appreciated every moment with it. Dont really smoke now but it is by far one of the better drugs to do (all drugs are pretty bad )

I think anything that has a chance of putting someone else out while they're in their own place shouldn't be made legal. I lived below some gross women that took turns chain-smoking on their balcony, seemingly on purpose. The smell poured in all the windows and there was nothing I could do about it because smoking is legal, regardless of the fact that it was affecting me. It's a poison and I couldn't make them stop. Yet I hear people for marijuana arguing that alcohol is worse. Sorry... I've never smelled someone's beer while I'm inside cooking garlic and other pungent foods.

My friend let me take a few hits off his vaporizer and roaches in the past and it doesn't seem to do anything to me besides make me hack up a lung from inhaling too hard. I didn't feel any sensation afterwards.

Marijuana doesn't even smell bad anyway. Far better than cigarette smell. This is also coming from somebody who doesn't even smoke it.

The funny thing is that many people who smoke it would prefer to consume it in a healthier manner but it's illegal status makes that cost-preventative.

I'm lucky I have access to oil.
