I'm moving into a new place next month, and for the past 3 places I've lived, I've christened the new home by rewatching a season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer

3 places ago, it was season 3. Then I watched seasons 4 and 5 at my next home. Then it was season 6.

Now it's season 7, the final season. My least favorite season. I remember liking the idea of the main story arc (especially the big bad) when I originally watched it, but I hated the execution of it. I remember it feeling so phoned in, as if the writers had already given up and moved on the other things.

I know Whedon had basically got bored of it at this point, after finding his new favorite child (Firefly), but the other writers seemed to have kept season 6 together very nicely without him. But all of those people abandoned season 7 IIRC.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe walking into this with low expectations (instead of sky high ones, like last time) will make it more enjoyable...
