I've stuck with Apache OpenOffice and it's generally worked pretty well as a free version of Word, Excel, etc. (Although, while at home, my spreadsheet use is for more basic stuff.)

tbh, with all of the shit that Microsoft has added in recent years with ribbons, etc, I'm not sure I would voluntarily use their products at home if they were free.

I used to just use Google Docs because it was free, but I now use Office/Microsoft 365 for the OneDrive cloud benefits.

Yeah, its expensive, but the quality is there.

Yeah, its expensive, but the quality is there.

I have access to office 365 because of work, and it is great as well. Better than Google docs imo.
