Its fun but goddamn the RNG can be infuriating. You can only get Black Widow, for example, through orbs (loot boxes), or by spending a good amount of money.

Solid game though.

Yeah I play it. Really fun game but I don't spend any money on it.
Haven't managed to nab Cap, Widow, or Night Nurse yet but I have some good characters.

I havent spent any money either. I have Cap and NN at lvl 59 so raids are a breeze. Except the new Thanos raid which is absolute bullshit.

Been using Merc Lieutenant a lot to compensate for lack of BW. Him buffing Crossbones AoE is devastating.

I love it. Crossbones is my boy. However I spent days trying to get Night Nurse and I just don't like her. I might be using her wrong but he is not helping me clear my raids at all.

Does anyone have an good villains teams from the villains that is easily farmed. I am stuck at 4-9.

My main team for raids right now is Gamora, Crossbones, Hawkeye, Quake, and Drax, and they work out pretty well. After a few rounds I swap out Drax for the Sorceress to heal.

@cjsdowg finding good villains is p rough especially as a free player, but Bullseye isn't too hard to get and can hit pretty hard. I really like the Hand Blademaster and Mercenary Snipers, as well.

I recently got Ronan the Accuser and maybe I need to level him up more but he kinda sucks.

My villain team is Hand Sentry, Elektra, Crossbones, Yondu, and Merc Lt. Im stuck on 6-9 which is annoying because Im only 6 shards away from getting Kingpin.

For raids, Cap, Wolverine, Yondu, NN, and Quake has been really good to me. Then Id swap Wolvie with Crossbones for the final boss.

And dont bother with Ronan. He blows.

I am level 58 using quake wolverine spiderman punisher and night nurse. I have 99 black widow shards and just waiting for that last one to pop because I'd probably drop wolverine for her, though he is 5 stars and she would only be 3. Haven't beaten the main campaign yet so I haven't been able to farm cap shards. I'd love thanos but this current raid is stupid and I started playing at the end of the first thanos event so I only have 55 shards.

Some I'm hoping for are dr. Strange, black widow, thanos, rocket raccoon.

How is everyone liking Ant-Man. There is no way I am going to be able to get him. My team isn't strong and there is no why I can farm him from the easy nodes. The Drop rate is just too low. I wish they gave us something good rewards . I mean 800 gold and hand shake just is an insult .

I hate the style of the antman event. I should unlock him, currently at 30 shards and should hit 35 minimum today unless I get really unlucky. I got 20 from a pull which helped a lot.

He seems pretty week sadly but his animations are pretty cool.

Just got Ant-Man. Not sure how he is competitively but hell probably make a good addition to my C or D teams.

Has anyone gotten 100% on the 60+ Thanos raids? My alliance is pretty legit and we can only get the 30% rewards.

My alliance only hit 28%when we tried the level 60 raid. I can't imagine more than 1% of alliances can even truly benefit from this set of raids since the rewards for less then 100% level 60 is trash.

Yeah I'm really unimpressed with Ant Man so far.
He's not even bad, he's just too slow, which makes him pretty ineffective.

Ant-Man's ability block is really useful to prevent taunts and power attacks. Other than that, he's pretty much a discount Quake.

Just unlocked Thor and Kingpin. Going to level the hell out of Thor to help beef up my cosmic team.

I'm about halfway to thor. Been saving my raid credits and buying him when he shows up in the shop. They really need to add more characters to the arena and blitz shops.

i started playing a few days ago, my account is level 35.

have a bunch of dudes but i dont really know how to get any other ones beside the starting guys and wolverine. i dont want to spend any real money.

how do you all unlock characters? i think the biggest detriment to my fun is that im sick of using the tutorial characters, i want to build my own team

I'm nearing 2 months and I have nearly 50 characters, including about 30 named characters. You start unlocking them pretty often once you get into a groove about a month in as long as you are using all your energy, completing all of your dailies, and if you are involved in an active alliance that gives good stuff too.

The best place to unlock characters is doing the character raid orbs which, if you have a half decent raid group, you should be getting at least once per day.

Barring that, blitz and arena store. If you're staying busy on the blitzes it's real easy to crank out the blitz orbs.

Yeah, its easiest to farm characters from blitz or arena. My Quake is 5*.

Rocket Raccoon campaign is okay.

Starlord coming in a week. Free cosmic character shards til then is nice.

If I could get rocket I'd probably swap out punisher in my team. Rocket hits way harder, though punisher is bulkier. There's no way I'm going to manage to unlock him before the event ends.

Starlord is like iron man, 310 shards needed to unlock. I currently will only be able to do the first two stages so I'll only manage 45 shards. Might be able to hit the third stage before the event ends.

I really hate how they do the Iron Man/Star-Lord type events with the increasing star level. I mean, how many days of farming would it take to get all SHIELD or Guardian characters to 6* or whatever it is? Its ridiculous.

Raids are the main thing keeping me coming back, because you do get some nice daily rewards that arent character specific.

Yeah that was the main thing that kept me playing. I found my first alliance and they were awesome so I stuck with em. Eventually it just got repetitive as fuck though with that being the only thing and maybe blitzes to look forward to.

A few ways . The first ways is by leading on the node that might give a character shard. If you keep playing that level over and over you will get that character. Note some characters need just a few shards like 30 or 15 and others need 100.

Then you get them from orbs. Different orbs gives you different characters and different chances to win.

Then you can do the stores. Each game mode as store were you can buy( with in game money characters), same things about the shards.

Mercenary Lieutenant (Yes you read that correctly)

Merc Lieutenant is super underrated. Provides offense up and speed up to most if not all your team and provides energy with his basic. Cap is by far the best tank because he's fast and speed kills. Not to mention if you upgrade his taunt all the way, it provides def up for the whole team and gives energy. Then he has AOE + buff cleanse with his shield throw and it's no contest.

For PvP, replace night nurse with Crossbones. If you can pop Merc Lieutenant's buff before you explode with Crossbones, it's pretty much gg

Thats my exact team right now. Ill swap Merc Lt with Wolverine in raids occasionally but yeah, great team.

Sadly they nerfed Captain America by not allowing him to give himself energy anymore. Im going to miss those infinite taunts.

I get terrible RNG when it comes to premium and mega orbs. Last few premium orbs I got were for minions, and I'm still at 69 Black Widow shards despite playing the game for like two months.

I've been at 99 bw shards for a month now. I'm actually just holding onto premium now and waiting for her to pop in the shop just so I can get her. 450 for 5 is a really bad deal but I want to use her.

Also the spiderman buffs really help him a lot.

There isn't one. You need to budget all of your resources. Unless you want to spent real money.

Basically you want to focus on one core team to build up and branch out from there as you unlock more characters. You need to prioritize spending and only spend it it will help you going forward.

Got my 3* Ant-Man thanks to the devs giving away a free orb. Now only 7 more shards for Rocket.

And yeah, gold is always in short supply.
