Every time I type out the word wookiee, it reminds me of this horror story. There's a local bar that does a beer spelling bee every other Saturday. You pay $7, get a number assigned to you and a ticket you can exchange for a beer. Every time you spell a word right, you get another ticket. At this spelling bee, there was only me and 1 other person left. My word was "Wookiee." If I had spelled it right, I would have won the whole thing, but I forgot the extra E and ended up getting 2nd place.

Should I get a New 3DS? I kinda want to play Super Nintendo games on it but I vaguely thought Nintendo was moving away from that because they suck and I don't know. It's cheap though.

Well you should see what SNES games are already on there, because I don't think they're going to add any more, but it will also probably be ages before they shut down the eShop. They didn't even start shutting down the Wii shop until this year (which I think is still open, but you can't add funds).

Vikings OL coach Tony Sparano died unexpectedly. The guy took a very very bad OL in 2016 and made them pretty decent in 2017. he was also the only head coach not named Bill to win the AFC East (keeping the pats out of the playoffs) in the Brady/Belichick era.

Have you guys seen A Quiet Place? just watched it for the first time. Really good movie. I have never really liked horror movies, but recent movies like A Quiet Place and Get Out have been great.

I have a Bernie Brewer bobblehead with him on the throne wearing a crown. Ozzie Smith was one of my favorite players as a kid. I don't think that bobblehead looks much like him though.

A Quiet Place was on my list too but I never saw it. I would have if I had this amc movie pass thing back then that I have now. $20 a month to see 3 movies a week... Pretty dope

My awesome family vacation has been set back by me getting swimmer's ear or an ear infection. I jumped off the dock 3 times. My ear is a little bitch.

I got moved to a new department at work a couple months ago and have basically been faking it the whole time. Me and this girl were gonna take over when the guy left and he had been working with another guy who got demoted when we got these jobs. So Friday was the guy's last day and I was a little worried but kind of blase about it. This morning though the girl told me she's quitting too and probably will be gone before next week. Her boyfriend broke up with her so she's moving back home. Now I'm in charge and we're getting the fail guy back up here to help me. This is by a wide margin the worst thing that has ever happened to me*

So this dude on the Cardinals Daniel Poncedeleon almost died on the mound like 15 months ago and just threw 7 innings without allowing a hit in his debut. Got pulled at 116 pitches unfortunately. Now the Cardinals will probably throw a combined no hitter to ruin my first Time seeing a Cardinals no hitter

I will.Before it was released I thought it looked really cool and then when it came out it was of course a huge disappointment. It was obviously massively overhyped, but now it looks like it might be the game it was supposed to be originally

I was thinking about doing this

I platinumed No Man's Sky the week it came out. It was okay for what it was. I wasn't really hyped for it at all so maybe that's why I wasn't too disappointed.

But I haven't played since then and the new updates do sound intriguing. All of my friends are redownloading it to their hard drives so we can play, since they deleted it out of disgust before.

I started off on a radioactive poisonous planet, went around gathering things and repaired my ship, then flew to another planet, which was this really cold planet with big mountains, forests, and huge forests. It also had these 20 ft tall walking rhino looking things and 18 foot tall walking otter looking things, with these weirdass 2 legged deer, but they were all non aggressive. Built a base out of wood (which is funny because everything is all high tech).

One thing I liked in ME is flying around and looking at the atmosphere, temperatures, and mineral contents of planets, which is what you do in this game except you can land on them.

My friend also joined my game and built a base on a nearby planet with teleporters so we can warp between our sides of the universe.

We had a pretty crazy thunderstorm with heavy winds tonight and there are trees down all over and we're very lucky none fell on our house

The Mariners are only 1.5 up on the A's now. This is so pathetic and I'm not even proud of myself for predicting it. The only reason anyone believed in the Mariners was because there was no clear contender for their spot in that wild card game, so the minute that a team emerged it became hilariously obvious that they were going to fuck this up again. They need to like trade for DeGrom at this point.

Probably. But either way they need to add because they need to make the playoffs with this team, this year and the reason why they're not going to is because they're still not any good.

I was just looking at the Rays on Fangraphs (yes another boring work day) and I was shocked by their leader in WAR among position players. I wouldn't have gotten it in 100 guesses. It was none other than the legendary Daniel Robertson a name I am quite confident I've never heard or read before this moment.

I played some Overwatch and checked out the new character tonight... He's cool but I think his damage/range is a little high for a tank. He seems really good even before you roll around with him. But the swinging is pretty technical so that would take practice.

I played him yesterday and I thought he was a big target who dies too quickly. I think everyone needs more time to figure him out though.
