We don't get enough Dew's and that's the truth. Most of the Dew's that you need have to be generated by expending SP on units to learn skills at the refinery that they don't need, and this requires Refining Stone's that you also don't get an abundance of

The calender has made this the most obvious Feh-channel update. We have a banner tonight, we have a GHB that has an unlisted character on the 29th, and a Legendary Hero Banner on the 31st. Plus maybe CYL on August 10th. Only thing they can do to surprise us is like... adding a new game mode or something.

the new game mode is the most obvious thing of all, because there's no login bonus listed from July 30th to August 10th. so that's when that'll be, i'm sure.

Better AI, new characters (not alts and particularly from underrepresented games), and something to address the powercreep/fix the arena.

I've done four of the grandmaster challenges. I haven't tried the others in a while. The reward isn't much for the effort they take

Exactly. The challenges present such specific situations that you'll never encounter anywhere else that it's not worth the time and effort to try to figure out on your own, unless you were absolutely bored and wanted to have bragging rights

Well I mean, the Grandmaster challenges are just Fire Emblem-themed puzzles. I like puzzles, so I spent the time (with more than a little trial and error) to figure them out. They have very specific solutions, but there's nothing inherently wrong with that.

This is ultimately what will need to happen for me to not drop this game kinda soon. Even if it's just something as simple as upping merge caps on units with lower base stat totals the power creep is starting to get obnoxious with new banners averaging like 38 base speed

When do you see yourself quitting at the current run rate? You seem like you still have some attachment to the game

I dunno. It'll be a while. Kinda soon may have been a bit harsh.

The fact remains that most of the units I really like in this game were released in the opening batch so if they stop being able to remain competitive I'll lose interest pretty soon afterwards. Brave Exvius lost me pretty much right after X-Death stopped being a unit I could make competitive.

A good ballpark would be once powercreep hits the point that 42 base speed on new units starts becoming commonplace. That basically means my +Spd Matthew even at +10 merge is going to get doubled by a ton of stuff that isn't even merged if they have speed boon. At the rate we're going I feel like that would be less than a year out.

It looks like they're bringing back a bunch of "Heroes with X" banners coming out. Each banner lasts a day. As always, the first orb is on the house.

Version Update Info

Updates to Grand Conquest: New rank and army feature, so we can now see who scores the best among each team. Naturally rewards are given out depending on your rank.

Area count: The starting score for newly conquered area depends on how many areas your army has. If you have 9 or more it will remain the standard 5k. If you down to 2 or less then your newly conquered areas start off at 15k

Weapon Refinery

The Askr trio finally get some love.

Alfonse gets Brazen Atk/Def,the refine gives him inherit Triangle Adept

Sherena: Nullifies Rally skills. She gains Spd/Def bond from the refine.

Anna: Can move to any ally when her health drops below 50%. Her refine allows her to move next to any ally within 2 spaces if her health is above 50%

Arena Update

Starting August 14th, tier 21 Great Summoner will be added.

Additionally, you will get +3 additional points for each enemy defeated by a bonus character.

New Event: Forging Bonds

A new mode that allows you to grow closer to Heroes? You can win friendship points for clearing the stages. You can get rewards for increasing your friendship with the characters. Possibly even exclusive conversations? Equipping accessories can increase the points you gain, and you can be rewarded accessories as well.

I'm not entirely sure what this is all about, but it starts July 23rd. There'll be more info in the notifications it seems.

Oh and everyone gets 20 orbs for this event's debut.

So Olivia alt looks like cancer right out the box. I mean more so than dealing with a flying dancer already is.

Though the thing that really concerns me is the whole "Bonus unit gives you extra points for each foe koed." As if inflation wasn't bad enough already(Though this ties in nicely with bonus units being +10). Of course this means you may actually need to use your bonus unit rather than them sitting in the corner and watching/warding.

Yeah I kinda hate that Olivia a lot. It's just not going to be fun to see ever. I mean I already hate seeing the two Azuras she's the demon spawn of

The only consolation is at least Olivia is a better dancer than Azura now as it should be

i like Olivia, and i always want more unique fliers, but that art... plus it being a 4-unit banner. i know i should skip it but i haven't been able to save orbs since... the last Awakening banner lol. so maybe i actually can this time (once the Tana banner ends, of course).
