Part of why he had to retire characters like Borat is because roughly 70-90% or more of everyone he interviewed recognized him after the movie came out. Thus why he uses new characters in this show and you won't likely be seeing Borat.

that's potentially a pretty horrifying thing to say, but with the cuts, it's hard to know if that's really how it was said. it doesn't sound obviously edited though, so maybe it's just camera switches, I'm not an expert at detecting that kind of thing.

I haven't laughed that hard in years, even though I thought it was terrifying and stomach turning. For hours after watching it, I kept randomly cracking up to myself.

It's honestly incredible how much people have been brainwashed by the news. It's not just a simple label of 'propaganda'. I mean, think about it. People are creating entire realities from television. Most people would never have the thought of the middle east or north korea cross their minds if it weren't for the news. They would hear about it in school and never think about those places ever again - some would even forget of their existence. +90% of americans don't see these horrible things happen in front of their own eyes - it's entirely told by their television sets. And this is how intense their anxiety is. Additionally, the most aggressive ones... are from small towns, where it's +98% white in most communities, with incredibly low crime rates. It's just like how I saw an anti-isis sticker on a guys car the other day. Again, if it weren't for the news, he would have never known about isis existing and his real life will probably NEVER be affected by isis. But, no, he saw some segment, had anxiety, and went out to spend money on that sticker and put it on his (?)-thousand dollar vehicle that he needs for survival. It's fucking unbelievable... I don't understand how most people can be so blind. Sitting in front of a box and hating an entire culture... what the fuck... I applaud Sacha for this exposure, even though I know it will do no good.
