Our mission has been received from the elders of the Great B8 Empire: conquer the vast, powerful, and as of now unsuspecting kingdom of Unova. Failure, of course, shall be met with death whether it be by enemy forces or our own.

A task of this magnitude will require cunning, precision, ruthlessness and utter devotion to the cause. So naturally I, a tactician with minor success and many failures to my name and has been placed in charge of this endeavor. We will need to amass our army from the inhabitants of Unova because we have strangely not been provided any significant forces of our own by the Great B8 Empire. I suppose the elders only want to give me additional chances to prove my worth.

It was only a matter of time before we made the move to conquer this land I suppose. For although the only wrong Unova did the Great B8 Empire was to rule without its consent, that is reason enough.

We immediately hit Route 1 which means its time for a new soldier. Raka aids and its an easy recruit.

We arrive in Accumula Town, a small town with nothing of note except a little girl who cheats at rock-paper-scissors. Juniper tells me to go seek out a Fennel in Striaton so Ill get to that when I get there.

After stepping out of the Pokemon Center, there is some sort of demonstration. A man named Ghetsis spews some garbage about Pokemon Liberation before walking off in a fancy formation with his uniformed cronies. Theres no doubt about it that they are planning some sort of takeover. What a coincidence that I run into an organization with the same goal. They will of course, have to be crushed eventually.

A crazy man who calls himself N and claims he can talk to Pokemon drags me into a fight in the middle of the city!

Aside from Raka being in yellow health, we came out of that route looking pretty good. Straight ahead is the next city so here we-

! Its Bianca! What the fuck out of nowhere. Why are we battling now?! Our main soldier Raka is second in line with 11 HP and may not be healthy enough to survive a switch-in plus battle with the Oshawott I know she has.

Uh-oh. With Kira at -2 DEF, there is a big chance that one Tackle form Oshawott will kill. If I switch to Raka, maybe he can take one attack and kill with Vine Whip but there is a chance that it can crit or do more damage than Im expecting. In a worse scenario, Vine Whip wont even kill and Raka goes down the second hit. Blue has not even had a battle yet so I dont know what he can do but I think that is our best option.
