For me, it's number 2 and 3, I honestly can't stand drivers that drive slowly on any lane other than the slow lane, when there's almost no traffic whatsoever (on the right side, here in Portugal).

I actually asked a few people I know that do that and they say "it's safer to drive on the middle lane".

HOW IS THAT SAFER?!

You're just causing other drivers on the right to pass 2 lanes to overtake you (or more, when there are more than 3 lanes), and you only cause traffic.

I just can't stand those, seriously.

how is "texting or putting on makeup while driving" not given its own option? Literally the fucking most annoying thing because when someone is driving slow (in any lane), edging into another person's lane, not realizing a stoplight has turned green, or just driving stupidly, it's almost always because they're on their phone or doing something they shouldn't be doing while driving (putting on makeup, eating a sandwich, etc)

I'm not sure what constitutes emergencies, but most people don't honk willy-nilly for no reason. If you're stopped at a red light that just turned green and the person in front of you isn't moving after a few seconds I'm gonna give a really light and fast honk. If you're still there (which this happened just a week ago), you're gonna get a longer honk. AND IF YOU'RE STILL FUCKING THERE, you'll get a continuous honk for a second or two.

goddam this motherfucker was on his phone staring directly at it and didn't realize he was holding up a lane of traffic wanting to turn left. Honked at him 3 times for about 7-8 seconds and barely got through the light, left several cars behind me stuck there for another cycle.

That's a lot of assumptions based on zero evidence.

I blend with flow of traffic and leave the left lane alone so people can pass me or so I can pass people on the left, as is the proper way.

BTW, you drive "in" a lane, not "on".

Drivers that agonizingly slowly ooze away from a light, making me slip my clutch to keep from running into them. Gee, guys, the right pedal is "go", 20mph isn't going to cause nosebleeds, get going and let me at least shift into second.

Sluggish and inattentive drivers in general. Especially the ones who can't read speed limit signs who also wander out of their lane, then speed up and tailgate when you pass them.

And an honorable mention for the ones who can't seem to get going on a left turn light, finally go through on the yellow, and make you wait for another complete cycle of the lights before you can make your turn.

I live in London, people honk because they're sitting in traffic. The horn is to warn other drivers of imminent danger, if it's not a risk to anybody then I don't care if you flash your lights, flip people off or shout, just save the horn.

Most people seem to honk because they want cars to jump lights and run down pedestrians.

Are you the type of driver who thinks driving "slowly" means driving at the exact speed limit? Because fast lane or not, if the speed limit is 90, I won't drive faster than 90. I'm just respecting the law. Drivers who break the law constantly driving over the speed limit are the ones I find the most annoying. Bad mergers, people who use ending lanes to cut people off, people who can't wait their turn in line.

This. People who are bad at merging are just the worst.

1) Do not stop at a merge sign. Merge means speed up to the same speed as the traffic flow you're joining, find a spot, and smoothly merge in. If you slow down or stop, the entire system breaks down, you risk being rear-ended, and everyone stuck behind you will hate you.

2) By the same token, do not attempt to merge at a yield sign. Yield sign means the lane of traffic you are approaching has the right of way, so approach cautiously, check to make sure there are no other cars coming, and do not proceed if there are. Yield lanes are frequently too short to merge safely and other drivers may not be expecting you to make the attempt, so don't be an idiot.

And finally, by far the most frequently misunderstood rule of merging:

3) If you are merging into slow traffic, you are supposed to use the entire merge lane, not try to merge into traffic halfway through. If you use the entire lane and merge at the end, it creates a single point of entry, thus allowing cars to smoothly alternate between merging traffic and existing traffic. If you just pick a random spot, someone behind you can just zip past you and continue to the end of the lane, slowing you and everyone behind you down. On a related note, don't be that asshole that goes flying down the merge lane while everyone else is crawling along - yes, Mr. Important, I'm sure you have somewhere exceedingly critical to be, but you're going to be stuck going the same speed as the rest of us in a few seconds and scrambling to try to secure a place as far forward in the line as possible is not going to save you more than 20 seconds and makes you look like an enormous jackass. Proceed to the end of the lane at a reasonable pace, not more than 10-20 kmh faster than the traffic you're going to be merging in with.

I think it's fine for other uses. Honking at someone at a light is fine, I think. I would honk just because we're in bumper to bumper traffic. But I'm also not just going to sit at a light if the light is green and nothing looks dangerous. I have places to be.

Also, it's possible they could be asleep. Which is dangerous. Or doing something else, which is dangerous.

I live it a state like that. And there is a law about impeding the flow of traffic. You get a ticket for driving in the fast lane unless you're passing someone. And you don't always have to be speeding just because you're in the fast lane. But you also shouldn't be going that much under the limit to where the other lane is faster...

Depends what's your definition of "slow as shit". 50km/h in a 100km/h zone? Yes, that's slow as shit. But when I drive in the left lane and the speed limit is 100km/h, I don't drive any faster than 95-100km/h. Don't complain at me for respecting the law. People who psychotically weave from lane to lane, cutting people off inches away from them and people who constantly swerve into the oncoming lane because keeping a vehicle in a straight line is apparently impossible. I see the latter way too often. Have called 911 on at least one person doing that because they had to be not sober.

Option 2, easily.

Also, I hate it when a semi truck decides to pass another semi, but the passing semi is still going way slower than anyone in the fast lane. So he creates a total jam in the process.

While it would be horrible for the economy, Id be a lot happier if semi trucks werent on the road at the same time as me.

Of the things on the list, definitely lack of signalling. I mostly tolerate people moving slowly in the passing lane, especially if they do happen to be passing someone slower than them and otherwise doing the speed limit. That's what I do, and I move back over to the travel lane as soon as it's safe to do so. Tailgating me won't make me speed up.

For something not on the list, people who don't get all the way over in a turning lane. Left or right, doesn't matter. Not getting over in the right lane tends to impede the straight lane, and not getting over far enough in the left lane tends to impede the view of people turning left opposite you, especially if you have a tall vehicle. Be courteous and get as far over as you can.
