But also because it was the game that made two of my favorite pokemon competitively useful: Sableye and Ditto. I got an Imposter Ditto in Black 2 (which took forever.) and have used an imposter ditto in nearly every of the thousands of battles against other players ive had since then. Also Join Avenue, and Funfest Missions. I wish they'd made Festival Plaza like that. Of course, its worth mentioning that while this game is my favorite, that just means I love it slightly more than I love every other game in the series. Also because it actually let you do fun things and didnt waste your time. Getting your first Pokemon.. "Do you want a Pokemon? Do you know what a pokedex is? Do you want a pokedex?" That was great, perfect way to start. . And I loved that when it asked if you wanted a tutorial and you said "No." it actually let you say no. I understand the tutorials in the first games, because every generation is someone's first generation. It just felt the most complete out of every other game since they love to add and remove features left and right. Tails 64 07/20/18 3:50:06 PM #47:	X and Y are my favorite games in the Pokmon series. The full 3D brought the world and the Pokemon to life in ways that previous entries could not. Amie allowed me to bond more with the little critters, viewing them more as living creatures than just tools. Seeing our bonds carry into battle added to the depth. I also appreciated the Amie mini-games as a change of pace. Customizing my trainer was a fun way to mix things up from time to time. Heck, being able to tip NPCs for nothing in return even helped make the world feel a little more alive. The beginning was paced better than most games since Shauna would heal your Pokemon in the first forest, nullifying the need for constant backtracking to a Pokemon Center before you have a good team built up. The music had excellent variety to it. EV training was no longer a chore thanks to the fun mini-games surrounding it. Riding Pokemon provided interesting changes of pace. Horde battles could be surprisingly intense. Some people found the games too easy, but I appreciated how I never needed to level grind during the story: that sometimes bogged down the concluding hours of past games for me. Instead, I could simply enjoy exploring the world with my Pokemon. I was disappointed with the main character's friends and rivals, but I thought the story was adequate (though not in the same tier as BW). I did enjoy the post-ending content with Emma.
