This is very sad. The character designs in Golden Sun were very cool, and I've always enjoyed the hell out of the games.

1 is a cute little rpg to play through but probably not groundbreaking in 2018, 2 is actually sort of legitimately good imo, 3 is garbage

oh but if you do play them you have to play 1 before 2

The games were decent at best, but the illustrations were pretty damn good. Sucks to hear.

Yes. It's a two-part continuous story and there is even some save data that you can transfer from 1 to 2. A surprising amount for 2001/2002.

am I the only one who didn't like Golden Sun. Everyone said it was amazing so I bought it but I basically eventually used an FAQ just so I could finish it. Like the whole game was a slog. I played like 10 minutes of two. Beat the third one, but again I used a guide. (It didn't seem as grindy though)

Sad the guy died though, sounds like he wasn't that old.
