The combat system was getting pretty boring, but I switched characters a few times and it reinvigorated my love for it. The soundtrack is really top notch, the characters and voice acting are entertaining, the battle system is fun, the aesthetic is gorgeous, and the story is mostly interesting. It's almost too bad the game was limited to the Wii's meager hardware. Seeing the new artstyle during XC2's reveal was a bit strange in contrast to XC1. Additionally my SO had to walk me through the mechanics since I was so confused. It's better now that I understand what's going on. If the original is ported to the Switch, I'll definitely buy it. Second_Chances 07/28/18 12:31:45 AM #33:	I like Xenoblade 2 more because the combat is a lot more involving, but the first game is definitely a more polished and wide-appealing product like the way each game handles their tutorials is the clearest sign, Xenoblade has nice clean diagrams even a child could probably understand reminiscent of a Level-5 game and if I recall it even lets you go back and review them from the menu, while Xenoblade 2 just drops a series of text boxes on you in a blitz and if you want to review them better hope you took some screenshots <cite>Second_Chances posted [p:905845269] in Holy shit....
