Some pretty dark times are coming for Toronto as the mayor and officials in Toronto push for a ban on handguns and handgun ammunition.

Unlike the USA in Canada you do not have the right to bear arms, nor a constitution that prevents confiscation of firearms.

The mayor of Toronto also calls for total disarmament even though the gun used in the shooting was not even bought in Canada but smuggled in from the United States making the cry to ban all handgun sales baffling as the weapon was not of Canadian origin and the problem was lax boarder security that allowed the weapon to enter Canada to begin with.
