My God does it suck! I'm working at fast food place right now, and the amount of hand washing that I'm having to do is so annoying. Literally after every task that I do at work, I have to wash my hands TWICE for 30 seconds, and I have to spend another 30 seconds drying them and then using hand sanitizer.

That's 1 minute and 30 seconds of hand washing that I have to do when I could be doing something else, like taking orders up front. Because whenever someone is up front, I have to stop what I'm doing and go fucking wash my hands for a minute and 30 seconds, and then when I found out that we don't have any fries in the grill be made. I have to go wash my hands again and put some fries in the grill.

Jesus fucking Christ, if food service is gonna be nothing but non-stop hand washing, then after I get another job. I'm never going to work food service ever again. Fuck. That. Shit.

Its murder on your hands too especially when you add in the heat and glove use. One thing I dont miss at all about working in a kitchen

Ah this takes me back and yeah this is the same when working in catering period. Gotta keep everything including your hands clean.
